1 Starter problem

Failure Date: 04/08/2019

Car has issues starting. Starter is cranking, no fuel to fire the car. Car has 1/2 tank of gas.

2 Starter problem

Failure Date: 03/15/2019

My vehicle stalls while driving in traffic on a city street. However, the vehicle starts right back while it's coming to a slow roll. I try to crank it will rolling to prevent an accident. I have had the vehicles battery, alternator, starter, and fuel system checked. The ignition switch was replaced in the vehicle because the vehicle push start button gets stuck and a new keypad was programmed for the vehicle. The vehicle stalls while in motion at any giving moment.

3 Starter problem

Failure Date: 02/14/2019

Car shuts off while driving. New alternator, new starter, new battery and the problem still occurs. Car shuts off completely, wheel tightens up. This is not when the car is idle, it's when the car is moving. Dangerous and deadly.

4 Starter problem

Failure Date: 02/17/2018

Battery light come on, shortly after dash board lights flickered, windshield wipers turnoff on by themselves, hazards also turned on, then radio and a/c turnoff, power steering was lost and the whole car died. Once car died, I could not start it, tried to jump it and it was dead, would not turnover. Later I was informed the alternator is under recall. When repaired by Dodge, I was told I needed a new battery and starter. I believe the root cause and all repairs should have been made by Dodge as they were all connected with same event.

5 Starter problem

Failure Date: 05/30/2017

Vehicle stationary, intermittently not starting when push button has been pressed, we can hear starter attempting to engage but will not start. Sometimes the starter continuously runs for about 10 seconds attempting to start the car and the only way to stop the starter, is you have to leave the vehicle and lock the car w/key fob. Has done this intermittently since July of 2017. The vehicle has had the fuel pump relay replaced due recall on 09/2015. The intermittent non starting issue has occurred a total of 12+ times. On two of the occurances the problems have been video taped. Had the vehicle to the dealership two different times and both times they state that they could not get the vehicle to duplicate the problem nor were there any codes in the system, therefore, they could not resolve the matter. When we tried to show them the videos they advised that they had no interest in viewing them. They also advised several times that without a duplication of the issue, that they could do nothing to resolve the issue. Dealership continues to maintain that we are the only ones that they know of that is having this particular issue.

6 Starter problem

Failure Date: 09/02/2016

I believe the totally integrated power module is the problem. It will not start sometimes and then will not stay running when it does. Cranks and dies, acts like starter just keeps turning over and over after hitting ignition button. We have had this problem for a few weeks and it keeps getting worse. Our vehicle year make and module fall within the time frame of a stated recall and the same issues in that recall are happening to our vehicle. It has happened in our driveway, rural and city streets. While at red lights or stalling while in motion or other stopping reasons. Please look into this, thank you matt l.

7 Starter problem

Failure Date: 06/01/2015

"takata recall"sometimes after the car has been driven long or short drives and turned off for a short period of time, when I go to start the engine the starter will grind/engine turns over but will not start this issue was suppose to be taken care of in the summer of 2015. Dealer had our car for over two months waiting on parts but the issue is starting to occur again!(electrical) also I find at different times the interior lights/gauge lights/indicator lights that are on and stay on for a few miles like there is a short in the electrical system. Note: I have never had a recall on the electrical problem.
