I had an electrical fire in the headliner behind the passenger sun visor today 7/18/18. My vehicle was repaired prior in 2014 related to the recall concerning this wiring. Shortly after starting the vehicle and driving, smoke started rolling out from behind the headliner. I pulled into an auto shop and they located the source of the fire.
I've had a few recalls on the truck. Several listed wiring. They've all been corrected or checked by a dealer. My truck caught fire and burned all the electrical under the hood today. Less than a month since the electrical recall was supposedly repaired. It was stopped but running at a gas station after a short 3 minute drive.

Purchased vehicle in Nov 2013. Received recall for brake booster in may 2014 (p14/NHTSA 14v-154). Called and scheduled an appointment. Dealership said that they would call when the part was received. No call to date. Received second recall notice via mail on 12/26/14. Called dealership and they stated that the parts were not coming in very quickly. Recommended I file this complaint with the NHTSA. Also stated that they were doing the second recall for sun visor wiring, received in Aug 2014, in conjunction with the brake booster, when/if the parts arrive. (p36/NHTSA 14v-391). This report is filed to comply with the directions of the recall that state "if your dealer fails or is unable to remedy the defect without charge and within a reasonable time, you may submit a written complaint to the administrator".
