I took my car in for a recall on my driver's side airbag. Before they started to do the work they said they were not responsible for any damage to my car because it was an older model. I am very upset that I took my car in for safety reasons and they could damage my car in the process! how unfair on the part of the consumer to make them pay for possible damage when they are taking their car in for safety reasons! and Dodge doesn't believe in the integrity of their own product at the same time! this needs to be addressed by the NHTSA!.

Takata recall- I have been waiting more than a reasonable time to have the driver and passenger side airbags to be replaced.
Takata recall I have gotten several notices in the mail that my Dodge Durango has a recall for both the driver's side and passenger's side air bags. I have contacted my dealer about getting the recall rectified 3 times now but am told that they do not have the parts on hand to fix. I find it hard to understand why my vehicle can not be fixed in a more timely manner. What is it going to take to get the air bag replacement done?.
I was told I would get a loaner car for my driver side air bag, then every time I am put through to to dealer I am then told I may have to go to the enterprise and get a rental and put down $100 of my own money. . . I don't have that. So that is still not replaced, also now there is no parts for the passenger side and it's not at all safe, the light is going off and on in my car and I have section 1 and my car is 2004 meaning the 6-9 years is now in the 13th year. I want a loaner car till you can finally fix both airbags, this is insane!.
