Anti locking brake system releases the brakes on slow approach to a stop sign or stop light. They do not release when braking hard, only after initial braking and slowing for a stop. They release as if sensing a slippage at one to the wheels. There is no snow or water on the highway, conditions are dry and excellent, however they still release for 2-3 seconds before holdings (grabbing) again.
