When took vehicle in for a replacement wheel bearing hub assembly, was informed by mechanic that an additional wheel bearing was also bad and needed to be replaced as well. The vehicle was making low pitched noise at about 40 mph+ and shaking upon braking. Mechanic said that it was unusual to see wheel bearings go at less than about 80,000 miles. Called Chrysler, said even with full powertrain warranty, these wheel bearings would not be covered, should have purchased extended warranties.

Car was making noise and shaking when braking, or acceleration around 40 mph. I thought brakes were the problem, when I took car in to brake and alignment center, they diagnosed problem as need to replace wheel bearing/frt hub assembly at 50k miles. Mechanic said usually they don't see this problem until 80,000 miles if at all. Called Chrysler, said not part of power train warranty, should have purchase extended warranty.
While driving the rain I went through a midsize puddle due to storm drains being blocked I lost the ability to steer the battery light came on the car stopped and started to overheat. I was thankfully driving in a residential area at 25 mph with out alot of traffic and was able to pull over right away. Because of going through the puddle the drive belt came off. When the belt slipped off it bent the suspension and spring that hold the belt tight. The belt is fairly new and the car had recently been in for service and checked over. There was no reason for the belt to come off. Can I not drive my car in the rain? if I was driving on the highway at 50mph or the road conditions were snowy or icy I may not be here.

After pulling away from a stop, noticed a puddle was left & a clanking noise. Took vehicle to transmission specialist. Was informed that the differential pin had wedged a hole in the transmission. This was causing the leak & the noise. Nlm.
