I changed my battery in my van and now the ac doesn't work and it seems like I smell coolant burning and when I'm driving between 40 to 50 it's very sluggish. And I had to have an auto shop check my transmission fluid cuz it felt like my transmission was slipping. And when they checked it they said I was really low on transmission fluid but they don't know where the transmission fluid going.

I've been having electrical problems since I got the van at some point while I'm driving all the gages would start flashing acting like it was trying to die some cases it did some cases it did not but when I stopped the dashboard had lost all power to it no ignition whatsoever I still had working radio headlights and everything else whenever I would park the car it could take up to an hour or more to get in the vehicle because it would not respond to the key fobs you would be sitting down minding your own business and then all the sudden it would work left me stranded trying to get to work my child to school and then last night while I was driving down the highway I started hearing a noise and then all a sudden the transmission started slipping revving up to 6000 rpm while I'm crossing over a bridge on a major highway barely was able to get across the bridge leaving me stranded in an unsafe part of town I ran a code scanner on the vehicle it shows code u0141 that was stored and p083b which is the transmission fluid pump and it never turn on a check engine light until I was less than a mile from the dealer after I had to drive to the dealer because the roadside assistance number I had I could not contact them. I do know that some of the vehicles were under recall I'm not sure if this one was and it was fixed or not but is not showing an active recall but it is not safe the images I shared I was actually driving forward and as you can see the lights came on and at 1 point it actually showed me as being in reverse it beeps and goes crazy.
Yesterday, I was driving straight ahead at 25mph on level city street with the vehicle in "drive. " suddenly the engine roared and revved up but the car did not accelerate - it was as if the transmission had somehow slipped into neutral. I took my foot off the gas, let the engine settle back, and cautiously applied power. The car behaved normally. However, after parking and running some errands, the same thing happened on my return trip home. I have not used the car since.
About 3700 miles the a/c stopped blowing cold air. Vehicle equipped with r134a. Put my gauges on vehicle way low add some stop leak w/leak detector. Found that the valve in rear a/c leaking. Around same time driver rear sliding door stopped unlocking and opening, the child lock lever moved by itself. So I moved it back to disable and that worked for about a weak. Then it started to make a noise like gears were jammed or rubbing together and then it just stopped. Dorr remains unlocked now w/no sound from actuator. Transmission seems to slip and lose power.

From the day I purchased this vehicle I have complained to Chrysler multiple times about the transmission slipping. It seems to slip within the first 15 minutes of the caravan being started. It seems to do it when the vehicle has been recently started, when it is shifting between 1st to 2nd gears or 2nd to 3rd gears (not exactly sure what gear it's in when it's making the shift) and it usually always happens when the vehicle is making a turn at a lower speed. The service rep. At the dealership said a lot of vehicles have this transmission and they all seem to have the same issue. He even told me his wife drove a Dodge Grand Caravan and that transmission slipped as well. He also stated that it would be an expensive repair for Chrysler to fix and he stated that if it's not actually broken, then they won't fix it. Recently I was told that my lifetime powertrain warranty had expired because I did not have the transmission inspected within a 90 day period from it's 5 year date of purchase. I was never told that I had to have it inspected, the warranty department at Chrysler said it was in my handbook. . . So I looked it up and it was. I was told it was a lifetime warranty and that's it. They also told me the multiple times I brought the vehicle in for the transmission to be inspected. . . Those inspections did not count as a qualified inspection for the warranty!!! that does not make much sense to me!.

My 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan was purchased new during Feb. Of 2013. Shortly after the purchase of this vehicle I noticed that the transmission was slipping. The transmission then started to go into manual mode for no reason. I have also been driving and the van loses all power to the front wheels. All of the problems listed happen intermittently. During the first four trips to multiple Dodge dealerships they stated they could not reproduce the problem and no errors were showing up in the computer. When the next incident occurred I video taped it. On the fifth trip to the Dodge dealership they agreed there was a problem after reviewing the video. The dealership again worked on my van but they could not find the problem. The dealership did change the shifter to see if that would take care of the issue. It didn't. The van now has 11000 miles on it and I have been forced to file under the lemon laws because Chrysler has failed to take care of the problem.

While attempting to stop transmission jumped and slipped intermittently. Dealer stated they were unable to duplicate the problem.
Our 2002 Dodge caravan with 23000 miles does not move when shifted into reverse. The transmission slips and grabs. We have taken it back to the dealership 2 times for the same problem and they can not duplicate the problem therefore they have done nothing to correct this problem.

The transmission has been repaired twice. The first incident was at 32,716 miles. The symptoms at this time was a transmission slippage when at idle (and a grinding noise) and a hesitation to go into reverse. The transmission was rebuilt at the dealership (seals replace). After driving approximately 200 miles continuously the transmission suddenly failed with no prior warning while driving 65 mph. We were barely able to pull off the highway in heavy traffic. The transmission has been replaced with a new one. How can a vehicle go through 2 transmissions in 33,000 miles? I had my family (including 2 children under age 2) in the car during this. We went from 65 mph in heavy traffic in the middle lane to 20 mph in less than a 30 seconds with the rpm's redlined. We were lucky not to have been in an accident.

Our transmission has failed and needs to be replaced. It began with the gears slipping, the transmission would jerk, shutter at low speeds. The engine would stall when trying to shift from park to drive or reverse. I have contacted daimler Chrysler customer service, but no help there as it is not under warranty. After seeing hundreds of similar transmission problems for this particular year of caravans, I am furious. There has got to be a defect in the transmissions of these vehicles. Is there any help out there?.

Intermittently while driving automatic transmission malfunctioned, causing transmission to slip to neutral position which almost caused an accident. Dealer unable to find the cause of the problem.
Transmission cannot hold the car in park and gears will slip even when the shift column is still in park which very dangerous at that time it may hold the vehicle and then slip and start rolling.
While traveling 40-45 mph consumer noticed transmission slipping. Please provide further information.
