The contact owns a 2011 Dodge Grand Caravan. The contact stated that while driving 40 mph the vehicle started to jerk followed by an abnormal acceleration. The contact also mentioned that the check engine warning lamp was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer a total of three times but the dealer was unable to duplicate the failure. As a precautionary measure, the dealer decided to reprogram the central computer and replaced the transmission sensors. The remedy failed to repair the problem.
