I think the 2011 Dodge Grand Caravan mainstreet should be recalled. The cars electrical system is always falling lights come on while im driving and won't turn off for a half hour layer no matter what I do. The air bag lights are always coming on and the transmission is failing when you shift into gear there's always a big gumping sound and the shift gets stuck in parked gear for minutes before it wants to shift into gear. I've read a lot of the same problems with this make and model car they should be recalled its dangerous.

While driving I felt and also heard a clunk, then my check engine light came on. While driving it felt like my car was stuck in 1st gear (it has an automatic/manual trans). We then realized the manual was not working, and everytime we put it in drive there is a clunking noise. Now as we r driving it sounds like it is stuck in 1st gear like the manual went out and the car thinks it is stuck, the engine revs the rpm's go up and the automatic kicks in but it does not shift right and the engine does not stop revving. Since I had this car I have replaced the brakes twice, the battery, the winmodule, the whole ac. This car is costing more then it is worth and crysler will not help with any of it. The winmodule transmission and ac should not have gone out so early.

Tire problem started upon receiving new vehicle and I first reported at mileage1,898 and found there was a techinical service bulliten for the low speed tire wobble (number 22-02-99 dated 04-16-1999) and had the dealership replace the tires at mileage 21,522. The transmission shifted from over drive to second gear while crusing at 55 mph and had to have the vehicle towed because the tran was stuck in second gear. The input speed sensor was replaced but has not corrected the irratic shifting that I have brought the vehicle back and complained about. ( dot number: tire size: 215/65r16 ).

Speed control module failed, transmission stuck in 2nd gear, dealer replaced, brakes gridded when stopping, two different dealers unable to correct problem,.
1st visit -July 1998 - repaired transmission cooler leak - under warranty. 2 visit 12/30/98 - transmission leak and when transmission was in drive would not move, then bucked into gear - repaired by dealer at our expense - warranty expired - performed transmission service and replaced selinod gaskets. 3rd visit 1/11/99 - problem with transmission shifting again - Chrysler picked up tab for parts and labor - replaced selonoid valve assembly. 4th visit 1/17/99 - transmission stuck in 2nd gear (limp mode) - returned to dealer - need new transmission at 44,000 miles!!! Chrysler will pick up tab for parts but not labor. Dealership has no backbone to fight for customer. Charging us major $$ for labor.
