One problem related to brake master cylinder has been reported for the 1998 Dodge RAM. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The brake fluid resirvoir was empty, but the brake warrning light did not come on. The dealer indicated that the vehicle was not equipped with a fluid level sensor inside master cylinder. The dealer replaced master cylinder.
