One problem related to labels has been reported for the 2000 Dodge RAM. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The vehicle certification label has the wrong tire size and inflation pressure on it. It states the truck has p225/75r16 tires with a pressure of 41psi. The truck was manufactured with p245/75r16 tires with a max psi of 35. This could result in overinflation of the tires if a person went by the pressure on the label instead of the tires. I have talked with the dealer and they stated they could not correct the problem and that it is common. If that is the case, why does the dot require the information be there?.
