One problem related to transmission solenoid has been reported for the 2001 Dodge RAM. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Transmission has gone out three times: first time was in may 02 when his clutch plates burned out and had to be replaced. Since then he has had to replace his coverter torch which were bad, causing solenoid pack to be replaced. Then, last time selenoid had again to be replaced.
