Windshield Problems of Dodge RAM

Consumer stated front windshield seals wore out. This problem was causing water to leak into the vehicle from the windshield. Dealership was notified, but did not resolve the problem.

Windshield has moved over a bit to the point where when it rains and water will leak into vehicle, causing rust to appear on floorboard. Contacted dealer, and the dealer was not willing to do anything.

After a major rainstorm, I discovered that both front and rear windshields leak. Dealer says this is not a warranty part. I believe this to be a manufacturer's defect.

The windshield bonding/sealant would leak & run down the side edges of the vehicle to the fender. This happens when the weather is hot.

The windshield chips when struck with even small objects also the entire windshield appears as if it was sandblasted and is difficult to see through when driving into the setting sun. . This seems excessive when the milage (34000) is considered.

The front corner posts are extreamly wide, to the point blocking vision. Although I have trained myself to move my body to be able to see around them I have come close to an accident a couple of times. I believe this is a design problem or design flaw. If someone driving one of these trucks says "but I didn't see the other car". It may very well be true. I have no other problems with this wonderfull truck.

Side window failed and needed replacement.

While washing vehicle in 90 degree weather owner applied water to windshield, and it cracked due to the windshield being very thin. Dealer has seen vehicle.

A rock hit the windshield directly below the windshield wipers, over the next couple days the small chip (size of an pencil eraser) began to spread and is not about 12", the consumer feel this glass is of poor quality. Nlm.
