The contact stated that while driving approximately 10 mph, the engine and hazardous warning indicators illuminated on the instrument panel and the vehicle began to shake violently with a loud banging noise emitted from the engine. The vehicle was towed to the dealer who inspected the engine and stated that the intake valve and cylinder head was defective which caused internal damage to the engine. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the problem. The approximate failure mileage was 78,000. Mah.
