The contact was outside of the vehicle and the vehicle caught fire to the entire cab where the engine was located. A police report was filed. The fire department extinguished the fire. 2 Loud Engine Noise problem

Tl-the contact owns a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500. The contact stated that while driving approximately 15 mph there was an abnormal noise that came from the rear of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and was diagnosed that the bearings in the differential needed to be replaced and both sides of the mana fold were faulty and needed to be replaced. 3 Loud Engine Noise problem

Tl-the contact owns a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500. The contact stated that while driving at 45 mph, he heard an abnormal noise and lost control of the vehicle due to the drive shaft detaching. The vehicle crashed into a ditch and the air bags did not deploy. A police report was not filed and no injuries were reported. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact owns a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle suddenly stalled. The contact also mentioned that while driving, there was an abnormal noise coming from the steering wheel. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. 5 Loud Engine Noise problem

Failure Date: 02/01/2007

- the contact stated that while driving his 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 (56000 failure mileage) at 3 mph over a hole on a dirt road, the contact heard a rubbing sound as if the tire was rubbing against the fender. He stopped the vehicle to take a look and found the drive shaft rubbing against the side of the gas tank. The contact proceeded to drive over the hole then the rubbing noise stopped. The contact thinks there is a design flaw in his vehicle because it is a 4 wheel drive and should be able to drive over holes without rubbing against the gas tank.
