Manifold/header/muffler/tail Pipe problems of the 2006 Dodge Ram 1500

Three problems related to manifold/header/muffler/tail pipe have been reported for the 2006 Dodge Ram 1500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Manifold/header/muffler/tail Pipe problem

Failure Date: 04/25/2016

Exhaust manifold bolts are rusted away. Thinking this could be a emission issue. Did research on it looks like there is alot of issue complaints out there on it.

2 Manifold/header/muffler/tail Pipe problem

Failure Date: 05/11/2015

The contact owns a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500. While driving at a low speed, the contact heard a noise coming from underneath the vehicle. The contact noticed that the head of the bolts that were attached to the exhaust manifold fractured. The vehicle was taken to multiple independent mechanics who diagnosed that the bolts needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 95,000.

Wheel hub assembly are coming off, I hear noise, and broken exhaust manifold bolts.
