My headlights on 2013 Dodge Ram 1500 laramie are getting a lot of moisture/condensation in both of them. I had them replaced by dealership but my new pair are doing the same. I have seen on other similar trucks like mine with same issue. This is causing my lights to look dimmer instead of brightening up the road. I have the projector style headlights.

The vehicle was taken to the dealer who replaced the headlights and stated the wiring for the headlights was loose. I've had the truck for a while but last Friday was the first time I drove it at night. I had no idea the headlights were so bad on this thing. It was an adventure getting home. No light to the sides to see to turn and both dim and high beams were extremely anemic. I've been driving for more than 50 years and never driven one with lights as bad as these, even when some others have had only one working headlight for a little while.
The contact owns a 2012 Dodge Ram 1500. The contact stated that while driving approximately 35 mph, the headlights failed to illuminate with adequate brightness. The failure recurred whenever the headlights were in activation. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer twice where both headlight bulbs were replaced but to no avail. The manufacturer was notified of the recurring problem. The approximate failure mileage was 300. . . Updated 12-05-13.
The headlights, both high and low beams, are so poor as to be a serious safety hazard. On low beam, the road is lighted for only 100 or so feet. On high beams, almost nothing ahead is visible. Similar experiences have been expressed by other ram pickup owners. These headlights are so poor, I'm shocked they have been approved for public sale. I have missed side roads and driveways due to the poor headlights. I'm forced to spend several hundred dollars on upgraded bulbs and after market driving lights. The truck is a serious safety hazard at night. There should be a recall to remedy such a significant deficiency in a $30k+ vehicle.
Tl- the contact owns a 2012 Dodge Ram 1500. The contact stated that while driving at night, visibility was reduced due to the headlights being too dim. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the headlight bulbs were replaced but the contact stated that the visibility barely improved. The manufacturer was contacted about the failure. The failure and current mileage was 707. Kmj.
The contact owns a 2012 Dodge Ram 1500. The contact was driving approximately 55 mph with the headlights activated and noticed the headlights illuminated inadequately. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer who stated the headlights functioned as designed by the manufacturer. The contact tested other model year vehicles and the same model year and the headlight illumination was brighter. The manufacturer was notified of the problem. Updated 12/20/12 the consumer stated there was no head light failure. It was the lack of brightness of the low and high beams.

Deer ran into me. My headlights on my ram are so inferior that I couldn't see the deer. I don't think he could see me either. The headlights on the rams are so poor I have started looking on websites to see if others are having the same problems. I have found hundreds of other ram owners with the same complaint. We all have commented how we can drive with our brights on and never get flashed back. Apparently Chrysler has corrected the problem on the 2013 model. (finally). Chrysler needs to recall the affected rams and fix the headlights before people are injured and killed, or should I say before more are injured and killed.

No incident prior to failure. Head lights failed while driven at night on the express way at 65 mph, given no prior notice that it will fail. Dealer was contacted and will be replaced.
The low beam headlights either don't come on or if you hit a bump they will go off.
I have owned 4 Dodge ram pickups, all the same, and all 4 trucks have the same poor lighting, the headlights are extremely poor and for each truck I have to buy the higher end headlights, I am sure if these trucks were tested for night vision they would not pass, please check this issue out and make Dodge repair or replace them, they are extremely dangerous as they provide poor lighting in night travelling so imagine how poor they are in poor visibility conditions.
The contact owns a 2008 Dodge Ram 1500. The contact has experienced issues with the vehicle ever since it was purchased. The headlights failed to produce the proper lighting to see at a distance. She purchased new bulbs that were installed at the dealer. In addition, the windshield wiper blade froze to the windshield and the vehicle would "jump" uncontrollably. The dealer was unable to duplicate the failure and stated that the contact needed more experience driving the vehicle. She took the vehicle to the repair shop and the mechanic stated that the tires could cause the vehicle to "jump". The mechanic further stated that the abs was located only in the rear of the vehicle; therefore, the stopping distance will increase. She informed the dealer of the mechanic's diagnosis and was advised to drive the vehicle a little longer to allow the suspension to loosen. The dealer stated that she needed to become familiar with the vehicle. The failure mileage was 120 and current mileage was 5,800.

Lights go off while driving and the only way to fix it while driving is to flip it back to parking mode, this only works until the lights go off again than just flip it back to regular headlights. This can be dangerous while driving at night with all the deer that runs around my neck of the woods, not to mention the 50' to 100' drop offs to the left and right sides of the main road.

On my 2008 Dodge pickup truck there is no adjustment for lowering the headlights a truck is made to carry weight in the back end or pull a trailer, both of which makes the front of the truck raise in height. While pulling my trailer I receive about 100 cars per hour that flash there high beams just as they approach me causing me to be blind for a second or two. Both the dealer and the manufacture has verified that there is no adjustment for the headlights and there is nothing they can do. I live in calif. And believe it's against the law to drive with lights so high that they blind the on coming traffic. About 2 weeks ago while driving through sacramento in a rain storm at night I could not see the reflectors that mark the lanes and came close to having an accident because my headlights were so high. I think that Dodge should be made to correct this condition on all of there trucks before people get hurt.
The headlights on my truck are completely 'blind'. The glass has become so unclear that during darkness not enough light is given up, driving in darkness has become unsafe. At this point I am supporting it by turning the fog lights on. I will be forced to replace the head lights to continue to be safe. This does not seem to be isolated to my truck as I am noticing similar discolorations of the head lights on other trucks of same Dodge model and year.
The dashboard started cracking about 3 months ago and is in very poor condition right now. The headlights also will occasionally turn off when I turn the bright on and I have to flash the bright a couple of times to get them to turn on.
The dashboard of the 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 truck started cracking all of a sudden and was getting worse by the day. Now I am having trouble with the headlights due to the dashboard problems , and it is a safety issue.
The drivers side headlight dims and will go off completely. The harness has been changed but has not fixed the problem.
: the contact stated the headlight covers have yellowed which reduced visibility on the road at night. The service dealer offered no solution. The manufacturer was not contacted.

When the vehicle is in tilt position steering wheel is eye leveled and headlights shut off. The only position in which the headlights will work is when the steering wheel is all the way up.
When driving at night headlights shut off, causing the driver to pull off the road. Consumer notified the dealer about this issue, however, mechanic cant not duplicate the problem.
Several cracks all along dash board from window seal to front of airbag/vent sections, when I showed the dealer who I bought it from, they brushed me off like I was complaining of cosmetic damage. I consider these cracks a manufacturer defect that hold vital components if I or my passengers were ever in a wreck, my vehicle interior was in excellent condition when I bought it from the used lot in October 2001, I can't say the same for the mechanics. The first day I had to return it for the harmonic balancer, then the emerg brake light stayed on, then the abs brake light which lead to replacement of drums, rotors, and calipers. In Feb 2003 I had to take it in for windshield wiper motor burn out, and this last month the waterpump went out. Can you advise me as to what is normal wear and tear and what parts aren't supposed to have to be replaced on a vehicle that now has 82,000 miles and regular upkeep? and if the sound of air blowing thru loose metal is what my truck should sound like when I accelerate from a normal stop? thank you for your time, amber.
The truck I just purchased when you are driving at night all of a sudden the headlights just go out. All you are left with are parking lights.
The head lights shut off by themselves.
