My 2006 Dodge ram pick up has had intermitent problems with the wiper blades coming on, or not, slowing down or speading up with out assistance from the operator. Last week my turn signals started to act up. I turn the left signal on, it shows up inside and out as a right turn, or nothing at all. My emergency flashers are not working either. I had to turn them on and only the right blinker came on, then everything shut down. I can not count on making a lane change safely, I can not count on my wipers working in the rain, and if I have an emergency stop, I can not use my emergency flashers.

Currently my Dodge Ram 1500 is having a problem with the multifunction turn signal. If you try to signal a turn the wrong blinker comes on, if you try to turn your high beams on or off the washer fluid comes on, if you try to turn the windshield wipers on they rarely work often getting stuck in the intermittent phase. I first found this problem when my windshield wipers would not come on in a flash thunderstorm while I was traveling on a highway at 65 mph. This is going to cause an accident, if you look there are too many people having this same problem for Dodge to ignore it. If an accident occurs I will be taking any legal actions I can to make Dodge liable, I just hope that nobody is hurt or killed before it is too late.
This is a complaint about a malfunctioning blinker in my 2006 Dodge 1500 ram truck. I have been reading that there are numerous complaints about this happening. The blinker starts going left when you have it to turn right and vice versa. Its crazy and so dangerous! I took my truck in to see about getting it fixed and of course the warranty went out yesterday! I hope for others sake that this becomes a recall item! thank you.

My 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 had the turn signals fail. First when I told it to turn right, it blinked left. Then it stopped working. It rotates to whatever it wants randomly and usually shows an incorrect direction. I'm safer not using a turn signal than showing a left and going right. I can't use hand signals at night and most people don't understand why I'm putting my arm out the window anyway. This is a major safety issue on this vehicle. This occurs all the time now. It was intermittent (problematic for one trip) then it would fix itself for a few days. Dodge dealer says they don't know what is wrong or never heard of it.
I have a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500, that when I put on my left turn signal, the right blinks. And when I turn on the right the left will blink, then sometimes it works properly.

Turn signal problems. I turn on the turn signals and either they don't work or you never know which one will come on. Sometimes nothings works and other times you turn on a turn signal and the 4 ways come on. Today 5/13/10 while in heavy traffic I was going to make a right turn, put on the right turn signal and nothing worked, turned on the left signal and the right one came on. . Now I made my turn and I cant get turn signal to go off. Drove that way for 5 miles when turn signal went off by itself.
Turn signal malfunction. Left one would make the right turn signal come on, right turn signal would make the flashers come on.
When the left turn signal is activated, immediately the right turn signal engages. The failure occurs intermittently. I've contacted the dealership and was told there is nothing they can do because the vehicle is out of warranty and manufacturer has not made a recall on my vehicle. This is extremely dangerous especially when entering the interstate.
Turn signal malfunctions. When left turn is selected, sometimes right signal flasher comes on, sometimes no turn signal comes on, sometimes it works correctly. The problem is intermittent. When right turn signal is selected, right signal flasher works normally. The problem is very dangerous as I had someone pass me on the left while I was making a left turn because my right signal was on due to the malfunction.
When driving trying to change lanes I tried to signal right and my left turn signal came on then the turn signals were alternating back and forth. This has been happening on and off for quite a few years it will start working again then later break again.
Activated the left turn signal, and the right turn signal lamps illuminated (flashed) instead of the left side.

I own a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 quad cab 5. 7 liter. Today I have experienced a problem with my turn signals. When I turn on the left signal the right one comes on. When I turn on the right one there is no signal at all. I found that lots of people are having the same problem with the blinkers in there vehicles also.
Turn signal randomly flashes the opposite direction than indicated. Also will flash back and forth between left and right when either the left or right turn signal is turned on.

The problem started in 2009. Went to drive the truck and could not get the truck to drive over 20 mph. Was able to get it to a dealer close by and had to have the throttle body positioning sensor replaced. Since that date I have had to have this same sensor changed 8 more times. Each time the private mechanic talks to Chrysler and they recognize there is a faulty problem with this part and will not recall the item. When this sensor goes out it will not let you drive more than about 20mph. Also had to replace the accelerated pedal positioning sensor 4 times. Blinker problems noted by many other consumers I have also had. Where you turn on the left blinker and the right blinker comes on. As well as the a/c problem many consumers have mentioned the door breaks and then all you have is outside air coming in. My mechanic has tried to get replacement parts from Chrysler to repair the problem and Chrysler does not sell this part (please explain to me how they can make the vehicle and not sell the part to repair it when it breaks knowing it breaks often). Tie rods have also been a problem with my truck. No matter how tight they are they continue to come loose even after being replaced and then the truck will shake. My main concern at this point is it intermittently will die while driving down the highway. It will start right back up but will die again and then it wont duplicate the problem for 2 or 3 days and then will do it again. Have not been able to diagnose this problem yet. If anyone knows any suggestions to look at please advise.
Turn signals began to randomly blink on either side (or both sides) regardless which directional signal was being used. Code reader at dealership showed problem with tipm.
Turn signals!!!!!!, turn on left the right one flashes!! bright lights stick on, and sometimes my wipers work when turning brights off. The turn signal ordeal while trying to turn in downtown colorado springs, was not a good deal. . . . I got many middle fingers.
