The frame has rusted completely through on both driver and passenger sides. The integrity of the frame is severely compromised and may collapse at anytime. This type of failure could be absolutely catastrophic to everyone who may be involved. It has not been confirmed by a dealer, nor has it been inspected by any others yet. It but was inspected by a ase-certified mechanic and confirmed. I am a disabled veteran, and I am not even sure how to move the truck with its condition for further inspection. The truck is currently available for inspection at my residence. I purchased the truck in July, 2019. I was unaware of the extent of the rust until this past year. I noticed a small hole in the frame, and currently, the frame looks to be missing 20% of its circumference.

I was driving on I-75 @70mph, a loud bang happened, truck shut off, I guided it off the road. I had wires hanging I looked further and seen the front drive shaft blew apart. My mechanic said it had locked up. The transfer case, transmission, floor board of the truck was also all damaged. Also said I was lucky that the truck did not cause a serious accident. This truck is a 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 hd. Well taken care of. No given reason why this happened. My mechanic said he has seen this many times in the Dodge trucks that the front drive shaft blows apart. Total damages will be the cost of $8,000-$10,000.

I was on a on-ramp getting up to hey speed. Hit a little bump where the old and new asphalt join and the rear started to fishtail to the left and started to spin out hot that k-rail then went over it roiling about 30 feet from it. The air bags did not deploy nor did the seat belt lock. It was a bit foggy and the road surface was wet.
The dashboard in this truck has been crumbling to pieces. It is to the point now the gauge cluster and passenger air bag are barely in place. This is a common occurrence on all of these Dodge rams and it is definitely a safety hazard.

Driving accross the kingston rhinecliff bridge and heard clunking and scraping from under the truck bed. I pulled over to inspect the undercarriage and noticed the gas tank strap had rusted and failed leaving the gas tank hanging.

Front drivers side frame is cracked all the way through the frame beginning at the trac bar bracket. This makes steering extremely dangerous because the steering hardware binds. There was a recall (rcrit-15v541-5721) for trac bar bracket weld failures for vehicles from 2012 through 2014. I believe this is a related issue that seriously affects safety. I've attached five pictures.

Body. Rust starting around the top of both rear wheel wells engine ,water leaks from the water pump, not all the time ,but you never know when. Usually after driving interstate for a couple hours.
Both rear wheel wells are rusting out from inside out. I know this is a old vehicle now but this should rust from outside in. I take very good care of truck so it doesn't rust away on me, this is very frustrating to have happen. Rust will eat thru soon enough and rocks will be able to be flung out at other cars.
Takata ?- on 7/15/2017 my son was involved in a single vehicle accident as he drove home on the freeway. Lost control of vehicle resulting in the vehicle spinning and impacting a guard rail post , ejecting him from the vehicle on to the freeway where he died. Upon examination of vehicle no airbags in the cabin deployed.
The passenger track bar mount and shock mount has fractures in the welds to the axle housing. The shock bracket underneath wear the bottom of the passenger shock bolts in is completely broken and the bottom of the shock is just floating with no stability. This is a factory weld and the 2013-2014s have the same issue but are the only ones with an official recall. It's been reported on many previous years and Chrysler/Dodge will not fix it. I am unable to take a picture of the the shock bolt as it is blocked by the track bar mount, but I did get the track bar mount clearly with the major fractures. There are more on the inner side of the passenger axle housing. This creates a major safety issue if it completely fails.
Ongoing subframe corrosion was identified while vehicle was stationary and undergoing component replacement. Extensive corrosion was removed between the front bed mounting point and right side rear shock absorber mounting point leaving a 6" x 2" hole. Identified on 11/10/2016 further assessment will take place on 11/12/2016 by a certified mechanic.
The dashboard around the instrument cluster, radio, and heat/ac controls is breaking into pieces. I am concerned that this will be a safety issue in the event of an accident. This is because of the sharp and jagged edges and loose material all throughout the dash area. Currently I have zip ties holding my heat/ac controls in place and 2 remaining factory screws holding my radio in place. The top portion of the dash also has failed and fallen apart over the years and due to safety concerns, I have already replaced it. I have been unsuccessful in finding a suitable replacement lower dash assembly to replace mine with.

The metal surrounding the door latch has ripped in half leaving a gaping seam and the door latch will not keep the driver's side door safely closed. Therefor, because this is a daily driver for me, I have to use a 1,000 lb cargo strap to keep the door shut until I can find a way to get it fixed.
Dashboard disintegrated into plastic knives that fly off and cause injury. Also compromising the effectiveness of the passenger airbag and or creating additional debris to be thrown at the occupants during a crash.

Sunroof leaks constantly. Water soaks into headliner and dome lights fill up with water. This is a widely known problem that the factory knows about, but refuses to fix the issue free of charge. Dome lights fill with water and potentially short out or 'explode' as cold water splashes onto hot glass of the bulb causing sparks and blowing a fuse.
The contact owns a 2004 Dodge Ram 2500. The contact stated that there was a failure with the control module associated with the trailer wiring short circuiting. The front drivers side door won't unlock or open from the outside. It only opens from the inside.
All of a sudden my brakes failed could not steer correctly and I lost control of the truck slamming into an oncoming vehicle. It felt like I was steering to go straight and the steering wheel just turned on its own. Now I have a $2800 bill to pay the body shop and I need to get my steering box replaced. I would like help with that. And most important I need these recalls done once I get my truck out of the body shop. My only request is that when I bring it in to the dealer I would like them to also fix my steering box at no charge.

I noticed a rust bubble under the paint a few inches above the rear tire on the passenger side. I removed the paint on the 1/4" diameter area and coated with touch up paint. After a week the rust started bleeding thru the touch up paint and I noticed a couple of more bubbles. I then removed these bubbles with a hand held pencil type grinder, coated with primer, then touch up paint only to find the same thing a few weeks later. I have doing a little research and this seem like a common issue. Due to the inner fender I can not get to the back side of the fender to stop the issue. Looks like the design allows water/salt/debris to be trapped in this area.
