7 Horn Assembly problem of the 2000 Dodge Stratus

Failure Date: 04/19/2012

My Dodge Stratus started blowing horn without me touching. Everytime I turn the wheel the horn blows. Then two days later the light came in the car would not go off. Then locks start going up and down and door make beep as if a door his open. I had to remove the fuses to stop horn from blowing, cut inside lights off and stop locks from going up and down. The car still makes beep noise as if door open whole time driving and stops and start back when I hit a bump. My front wheel making a noise as if the wheel is going to break off on the passenger side. It is also drinking gas as if it is leaking. I dont see any gas on the ground but I can smell fumes off and one and sometimes under the hood. It is like I am losing gas pressure because car stalls and I am losing gas somewhere.

9 Horn Assembly problem of the 2003 Dodge Stratus

Failure Date: 04/05/2008

My girlfriend and I we're pulling out of a gas station and turning to the right when suddenly we heard a "snap" and the car stalled. It started right back up, where I was then greeted by my air bag dummy. Horn and cruise control no longer work either. Talked the dealership and they said it would cost at least $80 worth of "investigative work" to make sure it was a clock spring (which I could tell the second it happened). Said that the part and labor would be $200 after the detective work of course. No recall, not available at parts stores, so no driver air bag for me. Hope Dodge recognizes the problem, it's all over the internet.
