1 Front Suspension problem of the 2008 Ford Edge

The contact owns a 2008 Ford Edge. The contact stated that the vehicle experienced a loss of engine power. The vehicle could not be driven over 1,000 rpms. The failure occurred without warning. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the front axle on the passenger side was defective and needed to be replaced. The vehicle could not be repaired. Prior to the failure, the vehicle experienced the same failure and the front axle on the passenger side was replaced. The technician stated that the manufacturer would no longer build parts for the 2008 Ford Edge. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 86,000.
