While driving at approximately 10 mph I attempted to make a left hand turn. Something popped in my front end causing my vehicle to immediately pull to the left and into a landscaping rock. The incident caused the entire wheel and left front side to completely break. Air bags did not deploy.

Transmission has catastrophic failure and exploded while driving. Many components missing chunk of metal and or just completely mangled after explosion from under car when had to me turned 35°-50° to go straight. Went to google my issue and say the 2020, Ford Edge had 3 recalls for transmission issues but for certain ones and mine want listed but had done a good amount of damage.

The power take off assembly (ptu) failed. I had it replaced a a Ford dealership with a genuine Ford ptu. After driving less than 125 miles the ptu failed again and my right front half shaft disengaged without notice on the high when traveling at highway speeds. Upon return to the dealership they noted that the ptu failed and it was replaced at no cost. However, they charged me for the replacement of the right front axel. I contacted Ford customer service and contend that recall 14s10 should apply especially after the new ptu failed. They denied my claiming stating that the dealership claimed a torn cv boot was the cause of my axel disengaging. However there was no mention of a torn cv boot in the dealerships multipoint inspection of my vehicle when originally brought in. Ford customer service and the dealership denied my claim.
Steering issues, suspension issues when reversing, power steering, braking system locking. Recalls on other Edges but not this vehicle.

I was recently driving home from work in rush hour traffic. At a stop light I began to accelerate and my car jerked extremely hard. Once I got to the next stoplight my Ford Edge began to shake violently. I was startled and didn’t know what to do. I was in the middle of traffic and it the shaking was incredibly scary. I got the car onto the mechanic only to be told that it’s the torque converter shutter. Ford states that there’s no recall on this issue but it should be. My vehicle has less than 100k and this shouldn’t have happened.

My alternator keep draining my new batteries from to much electrical pull and turns off all my digital dash and says my brake system is in failure and there is something wrong with the suspension in the front end even though I have had it fixed and the same problem has returned . I had my battery explode. The transmission jerks whenever it shifts and the transmission fluid is full and I maintain it on a regular basis. It is driven in town only. I am scared of it catching on fire now since I just saw that it is still has a recall that has not been repaired and I bought it used and I was told all recalls were taken care of. I have my grandchildren in this vehicle weekly. I want to see about getting this looked at and repaired correctly. I fear for my safety.

I bought this car used from Honda dealership. It had 84,000 mileage on it and since then. The headlights are so dim and I can’t see you have to drive with high beam on every time I go at night I’ve changed almost we like 56 different types light bulb, but still nothing still worst. If I used one for the manufacturer one it’s nothing it’s literally dark outside. I can’t see nothing and another problem is as the ball joint since I bought it I took it from my first oil change when they did the inspection on the car they told me one of my passenger side ball joint was loose but that time I didn’t have money to repair it because it was almost $5000 they said and I was like I don’t have the money. I’m a college student so and recently my car wheel is to the left side more. Something if there’s anything I can do is there anything y’all can do to help cause I don’t want to get in an accident because of that thing.

I bought this vehicle brand now. The Edge only has 69k miles on it and I have replaced the front and back brakes (rotors, pads, calibers) 3 times (yes. . . 3 times). I also had to recently (in 2023) replace the muffler, left and right outer tierods, left and right front wheel bearings and hubs. Now: April 2023: my front brakes are pulsating and I brought the vehicle back to my mechanic for a complete vehicle check overall which the mechanic documented: power steering return line is rotted (cost $175). A/c condenser is leaking and needs to be replaced/recharged (cost $1050). Driveshaft issue/vibration @ 50 mph: need to remove the rear driveshaft and inspect: if needs to be replaced: $4500. Replace front and read brake pads/rotors/calibers ($1600). . . Which would be #4 for replacement. Replacement of right rear parking brake cable ($205). ***I previously wrote a complaint several years ago (for the same VIN#). . . This is just an update and I am requesting Ford to review and demand a recall. The 2014 Edge has been a money pit for me and it only has 69k in mileage. If there was a way I could seek reimbursement I would. I will never buy a Ford again.
I bought the vehicle used and I was told that it ran fine and there were no issues with the automobile. And then it started having warning issue lights and then I started having problems with steering and holding in the road and it begain popping when I turn the vehicle to the left . And then the recall with the fuel tank I am scared of the vehicle and I do carry children in it. The used car lot I got it from will not do an inspection on it. So I would like to have it looked at and see if does need to be fixed as so I don't have a accident and see about getting the gas tank fixed. I don't drive it very fast at all and won't take it a long distance . To scares to go far in it.
Complaint filed Tuesday 18:14 hrs 12/06/2022. On 12/02/2022 I had a diagnosis at marcotte Ford holyoke, MA done my vehicle because it failed massachusetts emissions cel. Diagnose came back with the same description as the damaged fuel system and suspension which recalls, which should have been fixed before I registered the vehicle on 11/22/2022. I fear for my safety of fuel leak and suspension crash. I would hate to think a reputable Ford dealer would jeopardize my safety for a few extra dollars for holiday spending. I have found a different repairman for the faulty brake power booster & mass air flow sensor the a & z autos dealer /a & z auto repair placed in my vehicle. Ms. Sharon-shawn a. Bell.

The contact owns a 2016 Ford Edge. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle made abnormal sounds. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed that the rear axle needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and transferred the contact to the NHTSA hotline to file a complaint. The failure mileage was approximately 130,000.
Unknown but the issue is that the vehicle is all over the road swaying back and forth. The steering is super loose. In other models of the same year it was found to be the toe linkage. Also the cross traffic sensor goes off when nothing is even close causing me to slam on brakes thinking something is back there.
The vehicle stopped going into “reverse” and the transmission indicator remains in “neutral” even when shifted to the “park” position which has made the vehicle prone to rolling unless the electronic parking brake is engaged. Once in the “park” position the vehicle will not shift into any other position and remains locked unless the shift lock release is engaged to allow the vehicle to shift into “drive”.
After car had about 350 miles on it the front suspension became very noise and rattled. As it continued I can feel very bouncy steering and less than desirable control on multiple bumps. I took it to dealer and they said it had a leaky strut and ordered the part. They recommended only driving around town. It is getting worse as I wait over a week for the part to arrive. I really think both struts should be replaced.

Damaged antifreeze pump this can cause a very severe overheating on the road, transfer box and transmission make a very uncomfortable noise when turning to both sides I don't feel safe when handling rear differential the same problem (I've already replaced it).
Car shimmy's when hitting a bump or rough pavement. If this happens when road surface is wet or icy I feel car will slide enough to cause accident.
The backup camera displays upside down. Also, there is a clunk noise coming from the front end when you put in gear. Seems to be a common problem when you google.

While turning the vehicle to the left at slow speed the right ball joint failed (passenger side) including axel damage. The front passenger wheel turned freely to the right with the driver side wheel remaining straight. A sensation of front end falling apart was felt from the driver's seat. There were no symptoms of suspension failure prior to this event. No vibration at speed, no clunking, no unusual tire wear or pulling left or right issues. The car has 119542 miles at the time of failure. The vehicle was purchased used just prior to this at a Honda dealer with a extended warranty purchased at time of sale. Vehicle was serviced just prior to this failure with a water pump replaced under extended warranty.
I was out of town on the by pass went over a rr track slowly then took back off and heard a popping noise, went about 4 more miles and turned off as soon as I straighten my steering wheel out to head on down the road a big pop and my car stopped hard and jerked us and motor rev up. Got out to see what happened. My front tire was sideways. I’m so glad I had just turned off the by pass (60 mph) and was going slow. The axle and ball joint broke. It scared me to think what could have happened to us.
I noticed a knocking in the left front end. It was difficult to steer, very loud rumbling noise like gears clashing. Luckily I was only going 25 mph when it happened and a mile away from home. When I almost stopped couldn't steer at all. Purchased October 27, 2020, it is currently January 13, 2021 and has 601 miles on it. It has been in the shop for 3 days. Ford dealership verified that is was a factory weld failure. The piece that broke off made a notch in the tire which will be shown in the photos. I do not feel safe driving the vehicle with a major weld failure happening at only 601 miles and now I worry about the other welds on the frame.
Camera backup does not work, the passenger door will not latch, so it is open and flew open while driving.
Vehicle is extremely shaky and hard to handle. Also sometimes the advanced traction control warning light comes on in the anti-lock brakes engage while breaking normal lee.
Makes nosies when going over bumps and abs and suspension lights come on when this happen.
Cars door says it's open while driving even when it's closed completely. Also wipers don't swipe up and down.
