Engine Stall Problems of Ford Excursion

My vehicle randomly experiences engine stalls while driving. It has stalled while traveling up to 40 mph in traffic. When it stalls I lose power brakes and steering. I've had the vehicle at the dealer off and on for approximately two months and they are unable to fix the problem.

: the contact stated while merging with traffic on the interstate at 55mph, a spark plug blew upward into the engine which caused the vehicle to stall and operate at a reduced speed. The contact managed to pull the vehicle to the side of the road. The vehicle was towed to a local dealer. The dealer suggested replacing the engine because of the damage sustained by the spark plug, but no repairs were made.

2002 Ford Excursion, limited. Engine stalls when coming to stop at traffic signs, signals. Will restart in park but die immediately upon being put back in gear. Has been to authorized Ford service dealership, now 5 times, multiple testing with flight recorders, multiple part replacements, still no appropriate resolve. Currently back at dealership for another probable excuse, without definitive correction.
