The contact owns a 2004 Ford Expedition. The contact stated while driving approximately 10 mph, the vehicle lunged forward while depressing the accelerator pedal. The contact was unable to drive above 15 mph because the vehicle became difficult to control. The contact stated that the check engine warning light was illuminated. The contact had taken the vehicle to an independent mechanic who diagnosed and determined that the rear axle was fractured, the rear subframe was severely corroded, and the rear driver's side sway bar and rear differential were corroded. The contact was at a state inspection station and the vehicle was failed due to a rust holes on the passenger’s side front subframe behind the front suspension, directly under a reinforcement plate. The contact owns a 2003 Ford Expedition. While driving, the muffler detached from the vehicle. The vehicle was towed to fz perfections auto body and collision (191 us-9w, congers, NY 10920) where it was diagnosed that the crossmember was cracked and the rear of the vehicle was rotted. Winshield leaking due to faulty sealant. Have all kinds of safety issue with the vehicle now. Water leaks directly into gem module which is responsible for turning on and off all functions of my Ford Expedition. Things just randomly start and stop working by themselves, including cruise control, four wheel drive, wipers, and heater blower. Some stay on even after key is removed leaving you stranded. The only thing you can do is find someone for a jump start.

2006 Ford Expedition limited. Consumer writes in regards warranty repair dispute and driver's side power window being extremely slow in the closing operation the dealer lubed the window and stated there was no problem found. After complaining several times about the window, the dealer finally determined there was a problem. However, the consumer was informed the parts and labor were not covered under the extended warranty. The consumer stated the problem existed going back to Dec 11, 2006 and the defect was not addressed or corrected while the vehicle was under the original factory warranty. The consumer stated he should not be responsible for repairs that were callously overlooked and ignored by the dealer. Also, the lower radiator support to the body mount was severely rusted and showed signs of actual material failure. The consumer stated the condition can and will evolve into the root cause of both mechanical and safety related failures. The major body and front frame support failing under driving conditions could lead to engine failure, and loss of control of the vehicle. The most serious safety concern, was the front brake lines which were showing signs of serious rust. The dealer informed the consumer the lines could only be replaced under warranty if there were signs of leakage. The consumer stated corrosion in the form of rust would compromise the integrity of the steel brake lines, allowing brake fluid to leak out resulting in a total loss of braking power. The left rear door would not open from the inside, the driver's front door had to be slammed in order for it to close properly, the front axle drive pinion was leaking and had to be replaced.

Under back seat in rear of vehicle frame has a bad stress fracture. The crack goes the width of the body on the floorboard. Located where seats are mounted. Took to dealership & was informed nothing can be done. Manufacturer was in agreement. Crack at present is at least 3 to 4 inches long & getting worse.

In high/ windy climate, vehicle is blowen around which may cause a loss of vehicle control, and could result in a crash. Please provide further information.

Back end of truck needs to be replaced/ owner said that the dealershipp has taken a month and parts are still not at dealership.
