dear mr. Wise and consumer investigators:
walmart is selling recalled tires outlawed by the national highway traffic safety administration and department of transportation. This series was once sold by firestone. This tire is responsible for over 26,000 deaths and $1m in damages etc. Goodyear bought the trademarked series mentioned in the subject line and is selling them only at walmart. This is the same product but different company. The tires specifics are p25570r16. I am preparing to take this step further to get this series removed from the shelves. It is the tires tread, depth, size, height, etc. That did not conform to the federal government's regulations an specificities. Contact me to further discuss this issue via email at [xxx]

I understand this problem is under investigation as of sept. 2001. As stated 14 incidents reported. I have a very hard time believing that I am number 15. This is ludicrous. This is a Ford defect, just like the explorer and should be immediately recalled. I was extremely lucky, as it seems the others were also. I guess the NHTSA only really cares if there are fatalities involved. People saving people, who are they kidding. They probably have the Ford motor CO. In their pockets. Please note that we leased this vehicle brand new and just recently purchased it.

There was no accident involved with this part failure as our mechanic caught the problem before we had an accident. Our mechanic felt since this is the exact same part used in the explorer and mountaineer and has since been recalled, this one for the Expedition should be recalled as well. This is the exact same part! Ford was of no help and frankly Ford nor the dealership cared about this problem. No safety defec tmentioned.
Heavy vibration while driving at speeds over 55 mph, vehicle pulls to the left strongly even after alignment service.
Vehicle does not handle the way it should, it acts like it's out of alignment at all times. Does not go where consumer steers it, and does not handle well. Vehicle not taken to dealer yet.
SUV pulls to right when you step on the gas, will change lanes at high speed to the right. Will pull hard to the right when you towing and change lanes. When you are not stepping on the gas it goes straight. I've been to 2 dealers and one tire shop. Ford will not fix it . It is under ext warranty.

There was no fore-warning of this break in suspension. Without a doubt if I had not just gotten off the highway my sister and I would have been killed in a rollover!!! the dealer would not take a complaint to Ford and gave me a hard time about fixing it since I did not purchase the car in connecticut at their dealership. I paid in cash, they would not use my warranty.
Cost for repair $366. 83 excluding tax. No safety defec tlisted.
While the vehicle was traveling at speeds in excess of 50 mph front end had severe vibration, and there was a rattling noise. Vehicle had to be stopped before vibration would stop. Dealership has looked at vehicle, but could not determine cause for this problem. Please provide any additional information / attachments.

Consumer is taking in vehicle in for the 5th time. Vehicle wanders to the left. Dealer has no remedy & that they have done everything they could for the vehcile. Manufacturer sent dealer some adjustments to do to vehicle. Right side was adjusted so far. Vehicle was now going to the left & right. Independent front end specialist said vehicle should be pulling to the right.
Vehicle pull to the right while driving -- 3 repair attempts by dealer for a total of 5 business days out of service, Ford notified under mass. Lemon law -- if no sucsessful repair in 7 business days -- requires manufacturer to replace vehicle or face court action under state laws to protect consummers.
