Our 2007 Ford Expedition was sitting in our driveway, when our neighbor heard a loud pop noise. When he looked, he saw that our back left window had shattered--for no reason. This is the 2nd window to shatter for no reason. Luckily our kids were not in it, or they could have been injured. We will now have to replace the 2nd window in our truck in less than a year for them spontaneously shattering.

As he attempted to manually remove the wipers, the glass from the windshield shattered. The dealer was contacted and a technician concluded that because there were no recalls and the warranty expired, he was ineligible for a free remedy. The failure mileage was 124,000.
