2019 Ford Expedition that has been in for past transmission issues with no problems found. Ford is now telling me I need a new transmission and of course its out of warranty. Issues are when at a stop and accelarating the vehicle shakes as if you are going over rumble strips. Also, at hwy speeds when accelerating to change lanes the transmission will completely loss power and engine will rev then it will jump back in gear. This has happened several times and I am lucky this hasnt ended in an accident. No check engine lights warning of the problem. I see several TSB's that Ford has put out but no recall. This is a saftey issue that the transmission would jump into neutral while doing 50mph. Ford knows this and they are not issuing a recall. This will be the last Ford I ever own.

When parked car started shaking/grambling sound. Everything else working but the gas pedal did not go when pressed. Turned car back on and wrench light appear and car drives.

The vehicle has an issue down shifting from 5th gear to 4th gear. It causes the vehicle to actually shake and feels as if the vehicle was jarred. It is worse when you have the break applied to come to a stop. The dealership informed that this is an issue with the new 10 speed transmission and it's functioning normally. However it's very alarming when this happens and startles passengers in the vehicle.

While driving the vehicle loses all power and decelerates. The powertrain wrench light comes on and vehicle code is show p2112. This has happened on 3 recent occasions. Very dangerous when all of a sudden the power is gone! Aug. 27, 2018, driving home from my son's football game I lost all power on a dark winding country road and had limited access to pull over safely with my young child in the backseat. The vehicle was shaking and would not move forward. I was able to get it towed. The following day my husband hooked his code reader and the code presented p2112 powertrain fault. It started fine and we thought it was just a glitch. On Wednesday August 28, 2018, we heading to the airport and it did the exact same thing about 20 minutes in. This time we were driving on the highway at 70 mph and had an abrupt deceleration with semis traveling behind us. We quickly pulled over and turned the car off and then back one. We were able to start the vehicle and continue down for about 3 miles before it did it again. Again, we turned vehicle off and started back up. This is an extremely dangerous situation and Ford needs to recall since this is an ongoing issue. Someone is going to get hurt or loss of life.

May 04, my vehicle transmission was serviced (filter changed and fluid replaced) by the local Ford dealer. In June 04, under 1,000 miles since the service, my vehicle began to vibrate in the rear end when it would shift around 45 m. P. H. And was returned to the Ford dealer who diagnosed the problem as water in the trasmission. The filter was replaced at my expense and the problem has progressed over the last two months. The dealership stated that they could not replace the transmission because there were no other mechanical problems associated with the problem.
