The contact owns a 2005 Ford F-150. While driving 40 mph he stated that the gear shift indicator disengaged when he came to a stop, which caused the vehicle to jerk hard. There was also an increase in the rpm, which caused the vehicle gear shift indictor to engage without warning. The contact stated the transmissions slipped out of gear would not accelerate. The failure mileage was 9,000 and the current mileage was 19,000.
