My truck died, I then jumped it and it was stuck in 5th gear and I drove home and searched it so I restarted it and it was fixed. It has to do with the molded lead frame.
My truck repeatedl yhas the following happen without warning: speedo stop. Odometer goes to dashes, airbag light comes on and trans stuck in 5th gear. This is identical to tsb13-6-8which caused a recall to f150 until April 2013. My vehicle was made in November 2013. The dealer has confirmed this is same issue as recall but Ford refuses to cover this significant safety issue.
