Started vehicle in garage, depressed brake, moved shift selector to reverse position and "r" indicator didn't light, vehicle wouldn't move in reverse. Would move forward & "d" indicator lit. Turn vehicle off, restarted, moved shift lever to "r" indicator and it lit and vehicle would move. This happened 3 times between 12/21/2018 & 12/25/2018. Had friend try shifting while I watched rear backup lights. They lit when "r" would light, and wouldn't light when "r" wouldn't light. Also on 25th, all shifter positions wouldn't light when returning home. Very scary!.
