The door latch failed to operate as needed when the temperature was at 36 degrees. The contact had to turn on the heater for the doors to open. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed that the bps needed to be replaced due to moisture. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and referred the contact to the NHTSA hotline. The failure mileage was approximately 132,000.

The contact owns a 2018 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the headlights inadvertently flashed on and off. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where the bcm and battery junction box were replaced; however, the failure recurred and the horn inadvertently activated while driving. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer, where the horn was replaced. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case was opened. The failure mileage was 62,902.
