One problem related to clutch broken has been reported for the 1999 Ford F-250. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While making a stop by depressing the clutch, clutch did not disengage transmission, and vehicle stalled. Dealer has been contacted. Mechanic said that pilot bearing on pilot shaft is the weak link in the transmission. Pilot bearing failed, caused excessive wear on the pilot shaft which caused the clutch plate to break, which prevents the clutch from disengaging. Part replaced by dealer.
