On 1999 Ford f250 diesel automatic transmission, sometimes when shifting into second and third gears transmission will slip before going into gear and sometimes when shifting it will "hunt. " this only happens when transmission gets hot. Have tried several times to get help from the dealer/manufacturer with no success.
