Six problems related to underhood wiring have been reported for the 2000 Ford F-250. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The contact owns a 2000 Ford f250 hd. Every other day, the brake lights and turn signal lights stop working. The contact must constantly replace the fuses. The vehicle was taken to a mechanic and he diagnosed failure in the wiring. He stated that the five round wiring harnesses in which to tow a camper was put in pooly. The current mileage was 109,513 and failure mileage was 94,650.
Wife returned home wiith complaint of smell and smoke from engine compartment. I opened the hood and found flames coming form master cylinder area. Upon further inspection the fire was centered on the brake pressure switch, at the electrical connection.
