Ford F-250 owners have reported 6 problems related to front air bag sensor control (under the air bag category). The most recently reported issues are listed below.
My 15 year old daughter was driving my truck when someone slammed on brakes in front of us to turn, with no turn signal. We hit this persons vehicle in a 55 mph zone at 55 mph and then hit the ditch. None of our airbags deployed. With the damage that occured, I would think a sensor would have triggered. This needs to be brought to the attention of Ford motor company.

Transmission vibrates and cuts out when engaging speed , and I have not received any recalls on my vechiel it is a 99 f250 4dr v8. So could you please send me something to have my vehicle repaired and also my air bag sensor is bad , the engine light sensor is also on.
On Monday may 12 I was involved in a car accident. I am concerned because my air bad did not activate. I was driving a 2001 Ford f250, going around 40-45 miles per hour. I ran into the back of a person that was sitting stopped at a red light. I never hit my brakes so I hit her straight in the rear. Why type of impact does it take for the sensor to go off for air bags?.

I am submitting a complaint in the hopes that I will get some answers. Having just come off the interstate 40 onto our 14 acres, both air bags in a vehicle we owned exactly 23 days, deployed - destroying the cab interior of the truck. I phoned the manufacturer immediately and was instructed to take it to the nearest dealership for inspection. Two months later, following an electronic diagnosis of the vehicle, Ford informed me that the sensors registered three crashes and that it looked as if the right fender had been replaced, the radiator support was still broken and the headlamps and grill were loose. I don't know what this means and I am requesting information as to what would cause an air bag to deploy under these conditions. I am not implying or placing responsibility when I don't understand how this could have happened. If you have any information, I would appreciate any assistance you can provide. My truck has been sitting unused since July 21st and I am afraid to place my family in any further jeopardy based on the damage to the controls and interior. Thank you in advance.
The air bag light was on when the vehicle was delivered, required replacement of the air bag module on two occasions.
