Four problems related to automatic transmission park/neutral start switch have been reported for the 2000 Ford F-350. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Truck was parked on a car port (covered). Truck in gear and parking brake on. I was in garage at bottom of hill. Truck rolled off car port struck an old junk car half way down hill and drove it through the garage door and pinned me on the back wall of the garage. I believe truck was in gear and parking brake on. Police confirmed parking brake was on when they pulled me from accident.
Vehicle jumped out of gear and rolled back. Consumer was not parked on an incline. Please provide further details.
Truck rolled while ignition was off, truck was in gear and emergency brake was applied.
When vehicle is parked in gear with emergency brake either engaged or disengaged, vehicle jumps out of gear. Dealer has yet to be contacted. Please provide further details.
