Ford F-350 owners have reported 3 problems related to headlight switch (under the exterior lighting category). The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Headlight Switch problem of the 2005 Ford F-350

Failure Date: 06/14/2015

While driving on the interstate in the evening with our headlights on, we had to be pulled over by the state police to inform us we had absolutely no rear running lights. Upon troubleshooting the problem I found it is most likely the same as recall no. 11c18 multi-function switch. Our mechanic also agreed this is the problem. But Ford says our VIN # is not included in the recall. I have since seen two other trucks identical to ours with no rear light at night while yet their head lights are on.

2 Headlight Switch problem of the 2010 Ford F-350

Failure Date: 02/09/2014

Since 2012 the low beam headlights (both sides) intermittently turn off. It happens with the light switch turned both to "on" and "auto". Up until this week, I could always switch them off and back on, or from the pulled-out position (for the fog lamps to turn on) to the pushed in position, and the lights would turn right back on. There appears to be not pattern of speed. I have used auto lamps with the light sensor on the dash covered up and completely clear of any blockage of light. All of a sudden this weekend, the low beam headlights have completely stopped working. I changed the bulbs and they too don't work. This issue has been brought to the attention of the local dealer in the past with no resolution.

Failure Date: 10/30/1999

Headlight switch failed unexpectedly, going to work. Brakes pulsate when applied at all speeds, dealer cut down rotors at apporox. 23,000 miles. . . I asked if they had any others need cut at that mileage, he stated was probably due to rust. . . I purchased this truck only 4 weeks after build date, and it does not sit. . . Truck continues to have a pulsating brake, and is hard to stop.
