We bought the car February, 2016. As we drove the car more, we began to notice shuttering and chattering. An ase certified mechanic test drove our car. He said it had a bad torque converter shutter that gets worse the more you drive the car. When in sport mode, when you shift from 1st, it skips 2nd, and goes straight to 3rd. There was loud clattering noise while driving. The transmission slipped when gearing down and trying to accelerate, especially uphill. March 1, 2016, the transmission was worked on at ramey Ford, princeton, wv. May 31, 2016, the transmission was worked on at ramey Ford, princeton, wv. May 9, 2017, the transmission was worked on at mountaineer automotive, beckley, wv. November 28, 2017, the transmission was worked on at mountaineer automotive, beckley, wv. March 3, 2020, I took the car to my mechanic at act auto, beckley, wv because the car had been making a whining sound that continued to get louder. I was told that the front pump of the transmission needed replaced. My wife and I are afraid to drive, for fear that the car will stall out or cause us to have an accident.
