Brakes Failed Problems of Ford Fiesta

On Monday December 2, 2019 on my way to work I was going straight on the street with heavy traffic and seen that there was needed to be a stop up front so I slowly stepped on the brakes and nothing was happening and then I pressed on the brakes firmly and the pedal went nearly to the floor and I got into a accident due to the fact that the brakes failed.

I am the owner of a 2013 Ford Fiesta se. I take my car for regular maintenence. I replaced my front and rear brakes in December. A month or two ago I felt an anomaly in my suspension and brakes. The car kept feeling like had a shimmy while driving. It also started making a weird noise. I had my vehicle visually inspected and nothing was noted. I finally took my vehicle to kendricks body shop in aiken, SC and they told me that my brakes had failed causing them to go through the rear backing plate. I was also informed that my vehicle needed to be towed and it was not safe to drive.

Tl- the contact owns a 2017 Ford Fiesta while driving at 55 mph the vehicle drifted to the side of the road while trying to get the vehicle back on the road depressing the brakes it failed to operate and the steering wheel seized without warning causing the contact to crash into a tree and only the side air bags deployed. The contact mentioned that he started to see smoke coming through the vents in the vehicle. However when the contact tried to exit the vehicle all the doors was jammed and had to exit through the passenger window. Upon inspecting the vehicle the contact stated that he noticed the cvc joint under the vehicle was fractured. The contact sustained back, arms, neck, right knee and right hip injuries as well as cuts on his left arm that needed medical attention. A police report was filed. The vehicle was destroyed. While driving the speed of in town, stop and go traffic, my brakes failed to work. I approached a red light with stopped traffic ahead of me and started braking. I continued to brake but there was absolutely no brake pressure. It felt like my brake pedal was pushing through the floor board but nothing was happening. Brake failure, the car pulled so hard to the right it literally changed the lanes. Car in left lane had to lock up his brakes to avoid hitting me. This happened again the next day when I had to brake to avoid another car pulling into my lane. Brakes failed the car pulled to the right and I barely missed the collision.
