My name is christina stavrev (phone 571-278-8408, email: christina. Stavrev@gmail. Com) I bought a Ford Fiesta 2017 VIN # 3fadp4aj3hm155796 in Feb 2021. The car with 25k. Currently, at 59k cylinder 1 and cylinder 3 misfire because coolant gets in both cylinders, diagnosed by a local car mechanic! when driven, the car is a fire hazard!!! I’ve submitted a claim to Ford motor company cas-46017542, and they replied they don’t have a program that can help me! next, I took the car to Ford's authorized service, ted britt chantilly, va. The car stayed there 11/7-11/21. According to them, the problem was only a cracked spark plug near cylinder 3. After I paid the diagnostic fee plus the repair cost. The car started exhibiting the misfire problems within the first 10 miles driven. The car was returned to the Ford service department the next morning 11/22. The obd reader at ted britt chantilly, va showed a misfire, this time in cylinder 1 and cylinder 4. My car is at ted britt chantilly, va for a second time since 11/22/. Still, they can’t figure out why the car engine misfires!!!.

38 Engine And Engine Cooling problem of the 2016 Ford Fiesta

Failure Date: 10/10/2023

At 90,000 miles the engine timing crankshaft sprocket (I. E crankshaft gear, part #: be8z6306ad) holding the timing belt on the vehicle has failed. This resulted in the timing belt backing off the cam gears and coming in contact with and melting through the plastic timing belt cover. Luckily, there was an audible grinding noise coming from the engine that alerted us the problem before the timing belt became dislodged. On further review there are numerous cases on the internet of this situation occurring. Please see examples https://m. Youtube. Com/watch?v=2yqbhkaee9y, https://m. Youtube. Com/watch?v=tlhtjlxrytw, and https://m. Youtube. Com/watch?v=lfi1v1flbx4&pp=ygucrm9yzcb0aw1pbmcgymvsdcbjcmfuaybpc3n1zq%3d%3d. The service interval for this component established by Ford is 150,000 miles. Therefore, these situations represent an early failure of this engine component and poses a safety risk to drivers if the belt comes off track or breaks during operation because the vehicle could immediately lose power. The attached image shows the timing belt melting through the plastic timing cover.

I researched any recalls and found "part 573 safety recall report 23v-905", which only covers two different models, the focus and the eco sport, with precisely the same ecoboost 1. 0 liter engine. My vehicle was serviced by elk grove Ford service dept only 250 miles ago and the vehicle is back in for more service. Time before did the same thing said the problem was this and when they repaired they called and said this is now wrong, I keep asking why no answer. Now the vehicle had to be taken in and I believe because I have put in complaints before that they are f with me and messing with me I told them elk grove Ford randy bapatista that the engine light came on and the wrench light on the engine came on, they called me and told me around March 30th that it needed this and that, they came back now and said the power train control moduel is needed and they cant find any part for it I found a part the advisor said the parts person looked half a day I dont believe them as see that the pcm can maybe reset they have not said to me if they tried reseting the pcm and I would like the part number. 51 Engine And Engine Cooling problem of the 2012 Ford Fiesta

Failure Date: 02/08/2023

2012 Ford Fiesta check engine light on codes reading O2 sensors, catalytic intake, misfires, fuel injection, etc. I have had my Fiesta at 3 mechanics all very known for there reliability all diagnosing it different issue recommending me to go to dealership which I was turned away because the recalls for the vehicle isn’t an issue for any of the possible diagnostics. Single mother of 3 now no vehicle, no money and no way of providing without transportation. Less than 150,000 miles owned less than two years and the amount of money put into the vehicle Ford should be ashamed. Shuddering and accelerating issue was told clutch and transmission issue but no help or actual known diagnosis since Ford won’t diagnose the suspected diagnosis from any of the mechanics I have taken the vehicle to and they can’t for sure diagnose it until Ford confirms the diagnosis since this is a known issue. They also sent me two recalls but refused to fix the recalls because I wasn’t 100% sure my vehicle needed the repair and threatened to charge me 150 diagnostic charge for the recall after I already poured my heart out to them about the issue I can’t seem to even get repaired due to there lack of care care as a manufacturer.

54 Engine And Engine Cooling problem of the 2015 Ford Fiesta

Failure Date: 01/31/2023

My car has been under recall now for the transmission or chip in the transmission. The car keeps jerking, stalls randomly and sometimes won't work. It's been confirmed by the palatka FL Ford dealership. I originally took it to the Ford in ocala FL, but they keep refusing to fix it. Now the palatka one is saying they can't because they don't have a chip. They're refusing to buy it back or work with me on it. I am the original owner, bought it strait off the lot and it was made in 2015. It's only 8 years old, but I've stalled now multiple times on the highway, in traffic on the way to work, and at gas stations. I want this fixed ASAP, according to the laws they have to work with me on this. I just don't know how to get them to work with me.

55 Engine And Engine Cooling problem of the 2015 Ford Fiesta

Failure Date: 01/05/2023

1 year ago I spent over $1,000 fixing everything on this car, no one offered any info. About recalls. At 21,000-23,000 miles only. I noticed some odd shuddering at low speeds. Like shaking, but only going slower. Then it did other things, seemed like maybe it was when parking or backing up. Car would switch to neutral. On its own. Another: the car kept starting. I have a remote starter, I removed rs, still doing it. I'll find car running by itself. With no key in the ignition. I have 2 year old battery from costco, under warranty. Last week, coming home, car lost all power, nearby, able to glide into garage. Spent days checking, terminals, fuses, everything. Battery should be 12. 5 amps, it was 3. 5 amps. So could not be jump-started. Had towed to costco, then midas. $1,100 later got ride to pick up, start car, dashboard now has orange wrench, said: "transmission malfunction! service now!" Sunday, midas closed, no choice but drive home, 10 miles. Dad drove me, stopped to eat, when came out after 2 hours, the car was running! in the parking lot, all by itself! the key wasn't in the ignition! key was in my purse way inside restaurant. It was scary. Then shifting was messed up, on small hill, kick back, forth, not enough power. Don't drive stick shifts/manuals, but each gear was struggling. Also shaking, thought would stall. When home, car wouldn't turn off! removed key, car kept running - no key! online, see recalls, transmission lawsuits, everything. Own two Ford Fiesta se's, never sent anything about. In press, Ford lies, say owners told. Called 5 local Ford dealerships, all playing game of "what recall?" "what transmission issues?" I have to pay $300+ have error codes run, if recall, maybe they'll pay, "probably extended warranty. " what extended warranty? 2015 Ford Fiesta se w/ 50,000 miles. I'll say this: I'm 100% disable I use car for ssa ticket to work program, delivering amazon. I'm losing $150 every day. I can't go to store, get my mail, dr. Appts. , I'm trapped.

Was told it's under recall or an extended powertrain warranty. Also has 2 other official recalls on it would like fixed while it's there. " in addition, I told them it would not go above certain speeds, so shifting is broken, feels like it will stall out. Invoice from crest Ford: "customer states the wrench light is on, he feels like the vehicle will not shift past 3rd gear as well, a new battery was put in and after that the vehicle started to have more issues" and "corrected by tech: malcoim macdougall warranty installed ae8z 7z369 f?module - transmission cont qty: 1 warranty installed wpr?warranty part return qty: 1 warranty trans warning message on, wrench light on, ids ck found fault po606, replaced and reprogrammed tcm per 14m02, relearned adaptive memories 3 and road tested ok at this time" these are all items Ford Fiesta recall, replaced, repaired. 57 Engine And Engine Cooling problem of the 2012 Ford Fiesta

Failure Date: 11/25/2022

Transmission malfunction.

58 Engine And Engine Cooling problem of the 2019 Ford Fiesta

Failure Date: 11/22/2022

Catastrophic engine failure due to the manufacturer's recommendation and use of conventional motor oils in the form of synthetic blend motor oil or super premium motor oil, a specification wss-m2c945-b1 , from the 2019 Ford Fiesta owner manual. It leaves the driver and occupants stranded in the middle of the road with an inoperable vehicle. Being a small 4 cylinder engine the engine is high revving and produces sludge. Whereas if the manufacturer recommended full synthetic oil as the car parts store do as part of the oils usable for that specific model. There would have been no engine failure as occurred with my vehicle on 11/22/2022. No sludge would form in the engine. Because synthetic oil is proven not produce any sludge in an engine. I believe a recall should result in the manufacturer recommending full synthetic in the owner manual and engine oil be replaced by dealer service to full synthetic as well as engine work be done due to damage from conventional oil.

60 Engine And Engine Cooling problem of the 2014 Ford Fiesta

Failure Date: 09/24/2022

2014 Ford Fiesta st engine failure due to known issue with engine block design. I had an extended warranty on the vehicle that was purchased with the vehicle from key Chevrolet in middletown. After experiencing a piston flutter, I took the vehicle to them under the warranty for repair, however, they could not locate the problem and recommended that I visit a Ford dealer. (9/2/22) prior to the failure I attempted to have a recall repair performed with multiple Ford dealerships throughout the state (tasca, monaco, gengras, dowling) and was told that they cannot currently get the parts to perform the repair. (Sep 2022) I contacted a recall rep after the failure and I was told it would be 4-6 weeks before a dealer could even look at it and that I could have a private mechanic (I chose to take it to firestone in middletown) repair and apply for reimbursement through the recall. I chose that route, however, after $1500 in work, firestone said that the head was warped too badly & the piston walls were pitted and the engine couldn't be repaired, it needed to be replaced. After contacting both a rep at the Ford recall center & the service department at monaco Ford - I was told that towing the vehicle in a mid-repair state to the dealership was acceptable. Firestone did ask if they needed to put the engine back together, and I specifically called and asked, now this is the reason they are denying the claim. Ford has issued recalls for this issue, but refuses to correct the issue with my vehicle because it arrived in a mid-repair state - please see attached emails with executive customer service.

61 Engine And Engine Cooling problem of the 2017 Ford Fiesta

Failure Date: 09/21/2022

I was involved in a minor motor vehicle accident. 9/21/2022 during the accident my 2017 Ford Fiesta suffered considerable damage(which I was ticketed for, they said wreckless driving. . I wasn't speeding and I have police reports to back this up). The car did its job and no one was substantially hurt. When I got a chance to look at the car further I noticed the passenger side motor mount(plate not the entire mount) exploded during the crash and allowed the engine to be pushed back. On that side. After retrieving the pieces that remained, there was a clear issue with the part previously mentioned. There is obvious gas porosity in the cast aluminum part. The car has since been brought back to running and driving condition. My over all concern is people potentially being charged criminally over what could be a manufacturing flaw. If the mount plate had held the damage my car received would have been considerably less. I'd like to also note I stopped at my local Ford service center to inquire about this aswell. And he recommended I get in contact with Ford(manufacturing) I tried by phone and that's almost impossible. I've attached photos for reference.

62 Engine And Engine Cooling problem of the 2015 Ford Fiesta

Failure Date: 09/11/2022

Goes with incidents: 11501018, 11501025, 11500972 & 11500985 I am 100% disabled, but work occassionally via ssa ticket to work program, for amazon, using Ford Fiesta to deliver packages. 9. 11. 22 at 4:30am delivering package to 1455 lorraine dr. , waterford, mi, on north side of road. As I backed out of driveway, now facing east, and busy road, hiller rd. I had only just gotten in, no seatbelt on backing up. Switched from reverse to drive, foot still on brake, car took off, as if I'd stomped on accelerator, but my foot was on brake still. Hitting brakes, I flew almost to hiller rd. , brakes not working, car speeding, steering worked. Tried to slow down, was on south side of road, on people's lawns. Going so fast, I went into ditch, then came up out of ditch! narrowly avoided mailboxes. Last house before hiller rd. On my right, tried to slow down in large lot next door, didn't work. They have huge boulders along edge of grass, I not only slammed into a boulder, but they had chopped down trees too, laid them down along edge of grass with boulders. Car went up, against gravity, onto one of these trees, before hitting the boulder. If you can imagine, from hood to bumper, and further out each end, I was up, on top of a tree, the bumpers dug into it, so the 4 tires were loose on each side, front hit boulder. Hadn't put on seatbelt yet, my head slammed into steering wheel, airbags didn't deploy again, $400 cell phone screen split, cracked. I hit my head so hard, it knocked me out, I'm not sure how long, seconds to minutes. Came to, was on tree, tried to somehow dig car out, with flashlight and crowbar. Ended up calling amazon emergency, it was Sunday, too early, not there. Called geico, then 3 other tow CO. 's, after 2 hours lakeside towing came by, had to use winch and flatbed, had to chop up tree was on, pull back from boulder. Was stuck there for hours. Phone screen shattered, had to be replaced, pay $125 for a tow, hit head, bumpers, scratched, all b/c this Ford Fiesta.

65 Engine And Engine Cooling problem of the 2016 Ford Fiesta

Failure Date: 08/29/2022

I bought my 2016 Ford Fiesta in 2019 at 49k miles. Since I have had my car, my car battery would die randomly and my car would fail to detect my key. Recently, when my car hit about 98k miles, my car died again and I needed to buy another new battery. Once the battery was replaced, the “service transmission now” sign began to show on the dash. My car will refuse to accelerate past 35 mph and will slow down to 0 mph. Found this out the hard way, on the freeway. My mechanic said I need a transmission control module but the dealerships say the part I need is on back order. Another mechanic said the part itself is faulty and to not buy another tcm. These are the following codes that returned on my car: p0606-00, p0702-00, uo401-00, uo131-00, uo420-86, uo101-00, uo140-00, u3003-16, uo193-00, u3006-16, v0427-68, b1007-94, uo121-87, vo127-87, uo140-87, b1c45-24, p0606 as of right now, there is no recall, so my car isn’t covered under the warranty. My 2016 Ford Fiesta was manufactured in November 2015.
