While applying the brakes pedal went to the floor. Consumer was able to maintain control of the vehicle, and drove it to the dealer for inspection. Mechanic determined that the master cylinder needed to be replaced.
The rear brake cylinder was corroded.
Master cylinder is bleeding. Manufacturer notified and informed dealer that they are aware of the problem from other vehicles. Parts delayed because they were being adjusted by Ford. Vehicle repaired.
