The Focus has a dangerous and erratic handling characteristic in rainy and snowy weather. The car has a tendancy to make abrupt and sudden sideways sliding motions, which on a couple of occasions have nearly caused accidents.

While driving at any speed rear end alignment is off, causing vehicle to drift.

I have been completely dissatisfied with this Ford product. I didn't put more information in this report because I wasn't sure I was doing it right. I plan to return the vehicle to the shop again today because last time it was there, they fixed the idle, window, and noisy suspension. . . Guess whay, I still have all those same problems!!!.

When get speed above 50,the car starts jump anyside.

While driving 65mph over a bump in the road back end of vehicle will shift to one side. Dealership was contacted.

Vehicle vibrates excessively when driving on highway, and rear tires are wearing excessively in a strange pattern. Consumer has replaced all 4 tires but problem is still occurring.

The rear axle broke while driving and caused the wheel to cave in.

This car in snowy/icy conditions becomes in some cases nearly uncontrolable. It constantly sways from side to side and the back end tries to come around. I love this car on the dry but in the slick conditions is becomes the worst car I've ever owned. There must be something fundamentally wrong with it. It has been this way since new. I've had everything checked on it, installed new tires etc. And nothing seems to help. This is suppose to be a low cost car for the 1st time car byer but I'd not recommend it to anyone much less an enexperenced driver. I will not let my 16 year old drive it if the conditions are even a little slick. It can be a terrifying car to drive.
