I purchased this car used approximately a month ago. While driving at lower speeds, around 30-40 mph the transmission will not shift out properly. Gears get stuck at 40 mph and car will not accelerate in traffic. This is an extreme safety hazard and liability. Engine light has not come on for this issue either. Ford needs to recall these vehicles and replace the transmissions before a death occurs and/or major lawsuits filed.
