Tl- the contact owns a 2013 Ford Fusion. The contact stated while driving at various speeds, white smoke would emit from the engine and enter inside vehicle without warning. An independent mechanic was called to her home and informed her that the failure was the result of a crack within the cylinder head which lead to an oil leak. She then called mccoy & mills Ford(700 w commonwealth Ave, fullerton, CA 92832) where they informed her of NHTSA campaign number: 17v209000(engine and engine cooling) and automatically linked to her failure to the recall. Once the vehicle was towed to the dealer, they then informed her that the recall was already performed; she was given an estimate for the repair. The manufacturer had yet be notified of the failure. The vehicle had yet to be repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 100,000. Jo.
