I bought my car in 2020 and immediately when I got home my car had died and I had to have it towed back to the dealership. Since then I have had 2 new batteries, 1 new lithium battery, and a new transmission. Issues with my vehicle include but are not limited 1. Sporadically when I am driving all my dash lights come on and my power steering goes out and my car becomes difficult to steer safely. 2. My car has rolled back twice while I am in park. 3. Passenger airbag randomly will fault when I am driving. 4. My e-brake will randomly fault while I am driving. All of these issues happen very often and are happening more and more often. 27 Power Train problem

Transmission is the worst I have ever used in any vehicle. Constantly slips downshifting and upshifting also when breaking. Transmission is slow to shift and then has hard bang and jerks the car.

28 Power Train problem

Failure Date: 11/17/2022

While driving, the clutch is beginning to slip in from 1st- 3rd gears. I feel as though this could be a safety issue if the transmission gives out all together in traffic. This problem has been inspected and confirmed by manufacturer. There were no warning signals prior to the failure and they began to appear around 130,000 miles. Ford has a recall for the same models with the exact same issue (recall number 18s07), but not with my 2. 5 l engine. This seems completely unfair as I have the exact same transmission and obviously it will have the exact same issues. Therefore, I would like a total coverage for the repairs as it has already been identified as a manufacturing issue of Ford.

29 Power Train problem

Failure Date: 11/15/2022

My 2013 Ford Fusion titanium hesitates a lot while driving, and on several occasions the vehicle has flat out stalled in the middle of traffic. Something pops up on the dashboard saying “run power active” and when I go to restart it, it’s takes a while for the car to turn back on. This has happened more than once a day some times.

32 Power Train problem

Failure Date: 08/18/2022

My issue is with the transmission when applying the brakes. It seems to be the regenerative braking switching back-and-forth between the brake pads and the regenerative motor. Which causes the dash to come up with a bunch of error codes, including abs brakes, traction control, airbags, lane monitoring. These transmissions have about a 75% failure rate.

33 Power Train problem

Failure Date: 08/14/2022

The shifter cable bushing malfunctioned. I could not shift the car out of park even though the gear shift inside the vehicle would move. There is a recall for this in other Ford vehicles but not for my vehicle. I feel like there should be a recall for the group my vehicle falls under as it happened to me.

34 Power Train problem

Failure Date: 08/08/2022

The contact owns a 2013 Ford Fusion. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle hesitated and started shaking upon depression of the accelerator pedal, without warning. The contact then received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 22v413000 (power train) however, the part for the recall repair was unavailable. The contact also stated that while attempting to park the vehicle, the gear shifter failed to move out of drive(d). The contact engaged the parking brake and called a mechanic for assistance. The mechanic discovered that the cable bushing was defective and was able to correct the issue; the contact was able to drive the vehicle back to the residence where the vehicle remained parked. The dealer was notified of the issue and confirmed that parts were not yet available. The manufacturer had been notified of the issue. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The failure mileage was approximately 177,000. VIN tool confirms parts not available.

35 Power Train problem

Failure Date: 07/23/2022

The contact owns a 2013 Ford Fusion. The contact stated that after shifting to the drive(d), the transmission experienced hard shifting. Also, while shifting to the park(p) the transmission would remain in drive(d) even though the gear selector indicated that the transmission was in park(p). During the failure the vehicle would erroneously drive forward. The contact was able to manually shift the transmission to the park(p) from under the hood while a second person depressed the brake pedal. The vehicle was taken to the local mechanic who diagnosed that the transmission shift cable bushing was faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired on 3 separate occasions for the failure but each time the failure reoccurred. Additionally, all audible safety features such as the horn, alarms, seatbelt alarms were inoperable. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The manufacturer and local dealer were notified of the failure but no assistance was offered. The failure mileage was 120,000.
