The contact stated while reversing and when he shafted the gear to driver the vehicle kept rolling backwards and the transmission failure warning light illuminated on the instrument panel. The contact was able to press the brake and the vehicle came to a complete stop and shut down completely and would not start up. After he disconnected the battery and after couple minutes the vehicle restarted, and the contact was able to driver the vehicle home.
