When I turn right my vehicle made this ugly noise kind of like metal grinding and then it started kind of jerking my gear started switching and buying themselves it turned into neutral and then a warning sign came on and said transmission not in part stop vehicle safely now as I kept driving I stopped the vehicle turn it back on road home and kind of let the car just roll home I turned right again and the vehicle did the same thing but it was even worse it was making this ugly noise it started leaking transmission oil my battery ended up dying the gears it were just kind of like moving by themselves there's just weird like I don't know if it was recharging or what it was doing but my car was just going all kinds of haywire it's at the Ford dealership now at southway Ford that has been there for about 3 weeks I've asked them if they can do a diagnostic test on it they send my car still in line I've asked him if they can do recalls they said there's no recalls on my car so if someone can please give me a little leah a little advice here and help me figure out what exactly is going on with my car I am out of I've been without a vehicle I'm trying to get a rental car at least I was told to maybe have my car towed to a different dealership and see if they can expedite the test or whatever right now my car is not running it is at the dealership and I have no information as far as what exactly is wrong with my car all I know is my car kept saying transmission not in park stop safely now and then the once the battery died it never turned back on again so what should I do.

I have owned car for almost 4 + years I was roughly at 128,000 when I purchase I gave 159,xxx miles on now. In the past 4 years tires replaced 2 times. I keep having issues with tires needing plugged in front. My brakes have been replaced 3 times rotors 2 times plus struts ball joints tie rod u name it repaired suspension system sucks. I’m sick of having same issues repair. I have thousands of dollars front suspension then always have to fix tires stop for air replace. Ridiculous. Everything has gone wrong with the suspension system. Shocks bad ball bearings. The premium aluminum rims eroding away. I think that is what cause tire issues non stop I’m sick of getting air!!! I can’t afford to keep repairing the steering has became awful pulls yes I’ve had alignments it’s all over the place feels loose makes all kinds of banging clunking noises the wheel locked up had smoke rolling out from front driver side. Smelled terrible car shaking all over around 45 mph . I have more in the front than car is worth transmission jumps all over or jerks hard into drive or reverse I had look at and repaired once all ready door handles in side don’t work!! check engine light always on the cap less fuel area is junk the ring came off. When pumping gas it doesn’t stop it now. So gas is usually on ground running down car side headlight are always getting loose knocking out my headlights. For only have 30,000 from buying it I have spent as much buying the car the equals the cars repairs almost. Chunks of paint in front falls off below grille brakes/steering have defaulted and I have slid across intersection in winter I could have been seriously injuried and of course anothe tire issue today I want my money back and the repair money!!! paid 7,000 put $ into all the time invested roughly 12,000 all together for same damn issues. Car value 3,000 wtf. Make it right Ford!!!! yr cars are junk on certain models recalls never knew they better be getting fix for free.

Tie rods, outter and inner tie rod threads where stripped from Ford motor CO. Causing complete loss of steering while operating the vehicle. Tie rod separated with out warning while operating the vehicle nearly causing a accident at speeds of 55mph+.

I went to have my car inspected and it passed but they gave me a form with 4 recalls I need to have repaired at no charge ASAP please.

Shift linkage keep detaching from the the transmission causing the transmission too slip. It detaches often it’s been going on for 2 months now. I called Ford dealership to see have they heard of this problem and they answer was no. It might be a recall on this vehicle.

Steering feels like it's really lose and goes all over the road tires are bouncy while driving it pops back also while changing gears.

My car has been absolutely fine for the most part until about 4 weeks ago , while I was driving the low tire pressure light came on, so I went and aired up the tires, the low tire pressure light went off but then the service power steering light and advance tire traction appeared at this time im pulling back into my drive way, then I came out my house a few hours to leave and the stirring wheel was locked I tried to drive it and now the strring wheels goes to the right I never had this issue before let alone any warning signs . . I looked into recalls with Ford and it showed my 2011 Ford Fusion had recalls for whats going on, so I called a Lincoln Ford dealership that said bring it in they kept my car for a week and when I picked it up nothing was fixed on it and they had no paperwork to give me the show they fixed it so I returned my car the very next day because when I drove off it was still doing exactly the same thing but worse so now they've had my car for a week and they called me this morning to tell me my car has been doing the same exact thing and it is the wire harness that needs to be fixed and it's not under the recall but it is part of the power steering so I don't get it.

Power steering light came on. Steering wheel wouldn't turn easily.

Service power steering light illuminated, total loss is steering while I was driving. Popping sound. Very dangerous. Goes in and out, sometimes works then suddenly while driving it stops working.

While turning and going slow the steering makes a very bad creaking sound that is impossible to ignore. Have noticed many other people with the same problem on Fusions and nobody knows a fix. I'm not sure who will see this but if it is taken into account Ford needs to recall these as it is very common with Fusions from 2010-12.

Tl the contact owns a 2019 Ford Fusion. The contact stated that her daughter was driving at 45 mph, the vehicle began to pull to the left as an abnormal noise began emitting from the vehicle. The vehicle then independently turned to left and hit the barrier wall on a bridge without warning. The air bags did not deploy upon impact. Her daughter sustained no major injuries, only minor soreness. A police report was filed at the scene. The vehicle was towed twice to two different independent mechanics. The vehicle had yet to be repaired. The contact spoke with a dealer (jenkins & wynne Ford, Honda, & Lincoln 2655 trenton rd, clarksville, TN 37040) who informed her that there were no active recalls on the vehicle. The manufacturer was also notified of the failure and was referred to NHTSA for assistance. The failure mileage was 20,000. The VIN was not available.

My car was in motion while driving in NY city traffic; the power steering went out and we received the advanctrac / service power steering now message. It was diagnosed that the rack and pinion needed replaced. My mechanic told me it was going to cost 400 dollars alone for the part. I looked at this issue online and countless people seem to he having the same issue the 2010 Ford Fusion but Ford has not have a recall for it yet. I'm still driving it, times are hard I cant afford this expense.

Similar to previous complaints, the spring broke on the front left strut assembly. It didn't break in just one place, the spring broke in three places. Two pieces of the spring fell to the garage floor. I am glad that it happened in the garage and not on the road. The vehicle was stationary and I was not in the vehicle when it happened. I have the pieces and will include the picture in this report. I have taken my vehicle to get serviced at a local dealership. I am having them replace both strut assemblies. I commute for work and if this had happened while driving I worry that this could have caused an accident. Since this has been reported multiple times across the internet, I believe that this needs to be reported again to the NHTSA.

Tl-the contct owns a 2019 Ford Fusion. The contact stated while driving at 25mph the vehicle when out of control and crashed onto a curve and the front passenger side tire hit a curve and the tire collapsed and buckle under the front passenger side fender and contact found that the front passenger side axle fracuture and caused the vehice to move out of control. The vehicle jumped the curve, went up an incline and came to a stop in a residentail property. The contact stated the foot air bag located at the dashboard, the driver's window air bag, and the rear window air bag deployed. But the driver's front air bag failed to deploy. The contact suffered injuries to head, bruises to the body, nose bruises, and trauma to the head, lost of memory. The manufacturer was not contacted, the vehicle was towed, the needles sheriff deparmtment was present report number (212000012) the vehicle was towed, the vehicle was not taken to a dealer. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage 13,000. Li.

Tl the contact owns a 2011 Ford Fusion. The contact stated that the rack and pinion steering was replaced by the dealer sheehy Ford of marlow heights (5000 auth rd, marlow heights, MD 20746 (301) 298-0793) on 11/15/19. The vehicle had been hard to steer in making turns. After the repair the tie rods also malfunctioned. The contact suspects the repair on the rack and pinion steering caused the new issue with the tie rods. The manufacturer was notified and a case was opened as well as the contact was referred to NHTSA. The failure mileage was 98,947.

Fusion brakes became very spongy last year called the dealer, took car in they reported "resetting the brake sensor", and brakes were functioning satisfactory. 2 weeks ago, problem returned on a trip of 500 miles, thought brakes were loosing fluid, checked fluid was fine. Pumped brakes in park very hard x 5-10 reps x 3 sets , brake partially returned. Arriving home brakes functioned fair. Now past 2 days unable to reset brakes and they are very spongy, very risky for travel and performing unexpected stopping. Ford service reports some of these vehicles are under recall some are not?? I will redress this with dealer this week. Now steering fault is showing up, looses assist while driving , makes parking and avoidance maneuvering difficult and dangerous. Again some vehicles under recall not mine ??.

Tl-the contact call on behalf of his spouse who rented a 2019 Ford Fusion. The contact stated that while his spouse was driving at approximately 35-40 mph, without warning the steering seized. The driver was unable to maneuver the vehicle. The contact stated that the front driver's side suspension fractured which caused the driver's side front wheel to come into contact with the inner wheel well and seized in place. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that the front suspension needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. Neither the local dealer nor the manufacturer were contacted or notified of the failure. Enterprise rental car was notified of the failure and the recovery team was scheduled to retrieve the vehicle. The approximate failure mileage was 35000. Ah.

I pulled in my driveway, parked 2011 Ford Fusion and then shut vehicle off. I returned, started vehicle, went to start driving my vehicle out of driveway and the car started beeping and listed that the power steering did not work. I looked it up online and there was a recall for steering: electric power assist system failure (15v340000 or 15s18). I took to dealership and will attach quote which their recommendation is exactly what Ford's recommendation was. However my car doesn't fall into the correct date for this recall, I am happy that I was not driving 75mph down insterstate 70 in wheeling, wv or driving up to west liberty, wv where I work. Either could have resulted in a horrible accident for me, my kids and potentially other vehicles involved. The car has only 73,000 miles on it roughly and is in excellent condition.

08 Fusion keeps having leaks and popping cv anaxe now its pouring power steering fluid again when in gear.

One day while driving service advance trac and power steering failure warning come on and my steering wheel tighten up almost causing me to crash I took my vehicle to the shop and they told me that this oroblem happento a lot of Ford vehicles and that it would cost me 2600 dollars to fix I was in total disbelief because I can't afford that when reaching out to Ford they weren't any help as well they stated that being that I was out of my warranty there's nothing they can do I'm unable to drive my car now get my kids to school or even go to work because of this issue.

I am informed by Ford, that they do not have them to repair the parts? the car steers incorrectly, pulls to the side. Was happening on highway as well as city driving, and I-95.

Have been dealing with a brake issue for a few months. Took it to a mechanic who replaced the brakes pads. After they were replaced, the brakes still felt off. I would have to push the brake pedal down all the way to the floor for it to stop completely. Took it to a second mechanic who then replaced the master cylinder. Still had the same issue. When I returned to the mechanic, he looked over the air and stated there was nothing else wrong with it. Finally I went to dunphy Ford where the greeter stayed he already knew what the problem was before I finished explaining the complete issue. He assured me it was the hcu (which of course was almost $1000 to replace) so I had it replaced. After picking up the car it felt fine for the first two days. The. The issue started happening again. When I returned the car to Ford, they told me it was the rear rotors. I asked how could they miss that when they replaced the hcu, there was no answer. The rotors were replaced. That night I went to pick up my car. After driving off, my brakes now made a very loud squealing sound and sort of clanking sound every time I hit a small bump on the road coming from the right side of my car. Well I checked every tire and found one of the lug nuts was loose on the front passenger side of my car. Called them and had he car & brakes looked over once again. This time they tightened the lug nuts and �buffed� the rotors. The brakes still make a pretty loud sound when I brake but no one can seem to figure out the issue. Not even Ford. I can send in invoices and receipts if needed.

I have had to replace my springs on my car after it is only 9 years old. Ths does not seem to be normal.

When I was decelerating the car would vibrate. Only happened in town, not on highway. I was told I had to replace the driveshaft and left spring, which was broken!.

The steering components for my front end frequently break and the transmission has been rough ever since I got my car in 2015.

Rear suspension completely rusted out not repairable needs replacement at 40,000 miles,2006 Ford Fusion.

My alert symbols are just coming on and my steering control has changed. When I try to drive my car now losses power.

Vehicle was parked off road on a dirt sloped part of land. Brake was depressed and vehicle's transmission was placed in park, although the p indicator on the dash did not illuminate. Upon releasing the brake, the vehicle slowly began rolling in reverse. I depressed the brake pedal a again and upon letting go the vehicle continued to roll backwards. I engagred the parking brake in which the vehicle stayed in place. I tried to start the car, but engine would not turnover. I popped the hood to look for any problems and found the tramission linkage completely off tramission. I manually turned the transmission selector all the way Fordward to park, resulting in the dash p (park) illuminating. I the set the linkage back on the selector and ziptied the linkage and selector together to make it home.

The shifter on my car reads park but the actual gear it is in is neutral. I've taken the car to supreme Ford in slidell, but was told the party's to fix the recall weren't in. I then called the corporate office and was told I would have to pay for a diagnostic before getting the recall fixed on my vehicle. I thought my car was in park one night and it ended up rolling into someone's driveway by the time I woke up the next morning.

My abs and traction light stays on. My car shifts really bad when I hit an hole and when I go over 65 mph I fell like I am losing control.

Purchased car from seven star auto pensacola florida first problem was horn he never fixed than water pump and time belt I fixed supposed to fixed throttle body but never fixed and also he never installed horn for safety I tried to get refund but I'm in school an d I work and still pay note for a defictive car and I also hit pot hole which caused more suspension damage and dealer still doesn't know how to help me.

It was a chain-collision. The Lexus in front of me slammed into an Acura, and I slammed into the Lexus at about 50mph. Severe damage to my car (it has been deemed a total loss by ins. ) we were southbound on I-35 near the continental exit in dallas texas on Sunday may 13 2018 at about 3pm.
