The above vehicle is a 2015 Ford Mustang eco-boost convertible. It is equipped with adaptive cruise control. When a vehicle in front slows below a set speed or a vehicle cuts the car off the adaptive cruise control slows the car down, or stops it, to keep a predetermined distance. According to Ford the slowing is done by the engine and not the brakes. Once the vehicle slows, and it is safe, it begins to accelerate back to the set cruise control speed. The slowing, not being done by the braking system, does not activate the brake lights. Only when the brake pedal is stepped on will the brake lights come on which also would disengage the cruise control. We have had a couple of incidents in which the vehicle behind does not see the car slowing, by brake lights, and closes at a rapid speed on the rear of the car. Looking at a Dodge ram closing, not knowing it's going to stop, can be a bit unnerving. I have recently read that the automatic braking may be installed on future vehicles as a standard option. I can't imagine that keeping a vehicle from crashing into a forward moving vehicle is any more or less important then being struck in the rear because brake lights don't come on. I am certainly more cautious driving the adaptive cruise control on because of this safety issue. I have talked to Ford "customer relations dept" who weren't sure how to follow this up but to sent it up the ladder. I have a Ford case #cas-7876013.

Gauges don't work properly. Can't tell how fast you are going, what your oil pressure is, how much fuel you have etc it's a safety issue.

I received a recall notice from Ford in July of this year concerning defected air bag deployment on driver side. It is now the middle of September and no further actions have been taken. Am I to wait until an accident occurs before repairs are made, or can something be done to speed up this recall/repair process?.

My car shows erratic needle movement and gauges are reading over heat 0 miles per hour while moving and sticks at 120 mph after use and is parked. Gas meter is off, odometer is off, it's very scary to drive and expensive. Already dealt with the water leak issue form passenger side. Cluster panel is broken I believe. Bad dash board. Hundreds of forums explain same issues on going years on new models. Not safe or fair for Ford to not address this death trap.
When its raining water pours from under the glove department on passenger side.

Floor mat provided by roush got stuck behind the gas pedal and caused my car to accelerate to what felt like 90-100 mph. I attempted to pass traffic ahead of me and slammed my foot on the gas pedal to move ahead; however, upon passing the traffic on the garden state parkway north, which has a speed limit of 65 mph, my gas pedal became stuck or jammed in the mat and accelerated to what felt like 90-100 mph. I shifted to neutral then accidentally to reverse hearing a mechanical clunk, during which time I repeatedly slammed my foot on the gas pedal and then luckily, the gas pedal released and I was able to resume driving like normal. Later that day, I noticed that the floor mat was stuck behind the gas pedal at work; it may have slid under the gas pedal when my foot lifted up from the floor or the exact time I am not sure since when I enter my car I do not look to see if my floor mat is stuck behind the gas pedal. However, I am filing a complaint because the floor mat provided by Ford with my 2006 roush stage ii Ford Mustang had no hole to latch onto the hook on the floor of the car as well as the roush floor mat provided with purchase of the car and used that day, did have a hole to connect to the hook on the floor, but does not fit the hook. I am complaining because the manufacturers did not ensure 100% that their floor mats are secured to the floor; instead, in this example, it slid on the floor and became stuck behind my gas pedal. I have since removed the roush floor mat from the floor and do not use a floor mat, neither the one provided by Ford nor the one provided by roush. This complaint is more a cosmetic design flaw than a mechanical problem, since no transmission light came on the dashboard which I communicated to Ford by mail. Otherwise, I would have went through with an inspection of my vehicle at my local Ford dealership the following day (which I scheduled), but the car drives fine today and there is no light on the dashboard.

The driver side floor mat/rug on my 2007 Mustang was not locked under the tab on the floor. This has happened on 2 separate occasions. Because the mat slides forward it interferes with the gas/accelerator pedal causing the accelerator pedal to not return and allow DE-acceleration/slowing down. I took the Mustang to a local dealer to have the system checked. Their conclusion was the floor mat/rug caused the problem and that it must be locked under the tab to prevent it from sliding forward and interfering with the pedal. I believe this problem is the same as with the recent Toyota problem?? I believe a safety notice to all owners is in order to help prevent this type of potential for a serious vehicular accident.
The contact owns a 2003 Ford Mustang. The tow dolly was made by croft trailer, model# cg85ot, and serial#15df101w92aa04466. When attempting to place the vehicle on top of the tow dolly a displaced metal piece broke the hood latch on the bumper of the vehicle.
