1 Owners/service Manual problem of the 2018 Ford Mustang

Failure Date: 03/01/2023

While driving, the passenger comes loose and then it opens, on its own. This has happened numerous times, while driving. Additionally, the back windows do not close all the way to meet the front window, so I manually have to pull the windows closed to meet the seal of the front windows. The driver side window gets stuck and wont go up or down, sometimes.

2 Owners/service Manual problem of the 2015 Ford Mustang

Failure Date: 11/20/2020

The manual transmission is faulty, got it replaced under warranty and now again went bad but no more warranty. The ac compressor went out and evaporator core is bad(very common problem with 15-17 models), it causes windshield to fog up bad and can barely see at times when driving, very expensive to fix too.

3 Owners/service Manual problem of the 2018 Ford Mustang

Failure Date: 11/04/2020

The infotainment system (sync 3 w/ carplay) that came stock with my 2018 Mustang ecoboost recently stopped working. The car has 42k miles on it and is just over 2 years old. Sync 3 started to randomly lag (20-60 sec lag per button press), buttons became unresponsive (press not recognized at all), showed incorrect gps locations while using carplay (plugged in) with multiple map services, backup cam issues, and would cause bluetooth to disconnect randomly. I logged a complaint with my local dealership and brought it in for a diagnostic test. The dealership stated that the apim component needed replacement. The dealership noted this is common and plagues other models with the same apim. A quick google search verified this. My main concern is this: while using this system it can create many distractions while driving if the system is not responding as expected. Even the steering wheel buttons have a lag to them. One such scenario that caused great issue was adjusting the climate control during colder months when the windows/windshield fog up. When this happens, you can't see while driving. Typically, I can react quickly to get rid of the fog, but since this component is defective, the system did not respond and the fog had to be manually removed. Additionally, this component should not have to be replaced within 2yr of purchase of the car, since it is a computer. Ford offered to replace the apim component, for $1000 (warranty expired at time of diagnostic test). What is even more ridiculous is that they want to replace it with the exact same model number, which tells me in another 2yr I may have the same issue. This issue started up while I was in warranty (~30k mi), but seemingly went away until recently when the system has become practically unusable. Ford (corporate) also cannot provide any rationale as to why this is happening, per their customer service rep.

4 Owners/service Manual problem of the 2019 Ford Mustang

Failure Date: 01/06/2020

The car was purchased last November 2019, during the first month, I noticed that the icp was not properly working while using the gps- it gives wrong direction even the settings were correctly set, like it was remotely controlled. Besides that my battery was discharged that I needed to jumpstart it and towed it because the 1st time jumpstarting didn't work. It happened 4x, brought it twice to Ford dealer to check everything was okay. It even send me alarm thru Ford app that it was put on "sleep mode" even it was parked and it is frequently used. Not only that, the both windows were opened when I got back from an hour errand. With regards to the seat belts, there's no warning that flashes on the dashboard when not in used while on the passenger side despite riding with someone. It is also loose after removing it, you need to pull it manually to return to the short length when not strapped. The engine stalls when shifted from reverse to drive, it needs about 5-10 secs to work.

5 Owners/service Manual problem of the 2007 Ford Mustang

Failure Date: 01/23/2016

I have a 2007manual Mustang shelby gt with 60000 miles every time I slow down to stop the car stalls. So far I have owned 3 Mustangs and it has done it on all 3 of them. Obviously this isn't just a coincidence it has to be a manufacturer problem I've cleaned the throttle body done all the required maintenances changed some sensors nothing no check engine light no vacuum leaks it's impossible to troubleshoot.

6 Owners/service Manual problem of the 2015 Ford Mustang

Failure Date: 01/13/2015

Bought a brand new Ford 2015 Mustang convertible on 1/13/15 in florida. Car was delivered without protective tonneau covers/caps. When convertible is in down position, there are big, holes in top of rear panel exposing the mechanical arms. S apparently the oem of these parts could not make them properly and if an owner tries to put up top without removal the whole convertible top mechanism gets destroyed. Right now all sorts of dirt and debre gets into these big gapping holes. These parts are listed on page 186 of the manual. They are supposed to come with the car. No info from Ford motor company or my dealer is forthcoming about when I will receive these parts. When I call Ford marketing they give me a ship date, which passes w/o delivery. Today when I called Ford marketing they said they did not know anything about this???? Ford has been very dishonest about when these parts will be shipped.

7 Owners/service Manual problem of the 1998 Ford Mustang

Owner's manual states when key turned on and not buckled, warning light should appear 1-2 minutes & chime should sound 4-8 seconds. This consistently does not happen.
