When traveling at 65 miles a hour the airbag light, traction control lights and abs light came on the vehicle also lost power steering. I was told that because the airbag light was on the airbags would not function. Dealers report that rear driver hub driver side caused the issue. Dealer refused to cover under warranty even though airbag system was still under warranty.

A loud fog horn sound coming from under the hood. Raised rpm helped to reduce or stop noise. The abs light (amber) comes on and disengages the traction loc for the rear end (drive wheels). Over a period of approx. 1 month the abs light stays on with tracloc disengaged. I got the system checked and they stated no electric signal is coming out of the control module but power is going in. I was told for a more detailed analysis I should take it to Ford because there are 2 items that could be replaced and it could be $2600. 00 or more.
I was driving my 2005 Ford Mustang gt coupe northbound on a 35-mph city street. I was preparing to turn into a business driveway. While attempting to brake into the turn the (abs) light lit up on the dash console as well as ã‚check trac controlã‚쳜 on the heads up display. In that very instant the brakes became ã‚light and mushyã‚쳜 causing the vehicle to lose traction while turning. The end result of this was that the vehicle struck the curb inside the driveway entrance. The driverã‚s front tire hit the curb with a solid impact. This caused serious damage to the rim, tire, front axle, and probably some other underlying damage that is yet to be determined. Fortunately no one was injured, but if this had happened on the highway some one may have been killed. I do not if this is an isolated incident but I thought I would make some one aware just in case.

Reported abs light continually on; abs control module ordered 09/04/1999 (cost to owner for part: $600+). Part was received and to be installed 11/11/1999, however, new part was also defective and part was re-ordered. In checking, the technician found another problem with abs--part estimated at $800. Received both parts and installed on 11/30/1999. $500 was applied under "warranty. " owner still had to pay total of $900+ for parts and labor for a system (abs control module and abs hcu unit) that should not have failed in a car this new! also, if the part ordered the first time was also defective, it would seem that there could be a major problem with these parts at manufacturer's level.
