The a/c system shut down while traveling on an interstate and only blew hot air. The entire a/c system and its components had to be replaced and the vehicle was only two years old. A leak was found under the vehicle as it was parked in a driveway. Upon further inspection, the leak was traced back to the master brake cylinder and brake booster. The master cylinder had to be replaced when the vehicle was only three years old.

Casual driver. Noticed acceleration and coasting/rolling were sluggish. Mechanic noted brake area temp on front driver's side was over 400 degrees. The brakes on that wheel would not release completely and caused continuous friction producing overheating. (I noticed I am not the only one to submit this brake problem to this board. ) the mechanic replaced the total front brakes and master cylinder system. Cost over $1100 to do this back in 2013. It is now Jan 2021 and I still have less than 50,000 miles on my baby Mustang.

Brake pedal was depressed and went to the floor. Had the Mustang towed to local dealer. They could not find anything wrong with the brakes over a three day period. Oct 1st another brake failure with pedal going all the way to floor. Drove slowly to dealer. Service writer pressed brake and it went to floor. He related this is a recurring problem with 04 and 07 Mustangs. Its in the shop for master cylinder replacement. Needs a safety bulletin on this from Ford.

Was informed by the garage I took my car to that my master brake cylinder and hydroboost were leaking. I was talking this over with a lawyer friend of mine and she informed me of a recall on federal vehicles, police, etc. But this was not a general recall. But if you had under 100,000 miles on your vehicle it would be fixed through Ford. I called Ford and they told me there was no such recall even after I told them I could furnish them with case law numbers in florida. I am not sure what I should do and hope you can help.
